The UK nor the USA will ever attack Iran, neither one of us have the man power or the money.

Thier army is no push over and they have rather up-to-date tech.

It's not a case of man power, we wouldn't be mounting an invasion. It would be an air & naval strike using cruise/smart missiles.

If they were to be a war between the two, Iran HAS to be the aggressor, and not just defying a verbal ultimatum. I mean actual hostile actions, otherwise we will be seen as just being on the muslim offensive again...

Also remember that atleast UK has diplomatic ties with iran and there is also trade between the two countries even if it is 'secret' to some extent as suggested by bloomberg article

I think it is especially US who will be very keen to get it's hands on iranian oil.

Wasn't it the case that when US went into agreement with several gulf countries as their protector, it tried to reduce the british oil companies influence in the region by forcing/bribing arab sheikhs for exclusive oil contracts.
