not really. just want a new game engine. want destruction or something incorporated into the game. the consoles are dated but still very powerful units and not optimised by cod at all. really wish there was 5 or 6 great games out or coming out in fps all trying different things but they seem to be pocketing the cash. and without us they have no cash. cod hasnt been the same since mw1 really. that was the best cod for longevity but i can see this one being the same as black ops and dying a death before the next one is released. Just want a game to last more than a yr.
I can hope they are developing a new game engine in the background and polishing it off ready for the next cod but been thinking that for abouit 3 yrs now. lol

Just seen all the Prestige Emblems and I must say they do look very COD4 as does the look of the menus etc IMO. I am not gonna post a pic of them up so as not to spoil them.

With Modern Warfare 3 right around the corner, the levelling and prestige systems have been revealed. Modern Warfare 3's multiplayer cap tops Modern Warfare 2's with a whopping 80 levels and 10 prestiges, leaving 880 levels in total. However what makes Modern Warfare 3's system different is the introduction of the Prestige Token.

The Prestige Token is earned at the beginning of each prestige, however you can earn one token by prestiging in the previous Call of Duty titles. This token allows the player to choose one of the following rewards:

An extra Custom Class
Double XP (2 hours in-game time)
Double Weapon XP (2 hours in-game time)
Regular package (Callsign Title and Emblem available to those with an extra token lying around)
Unlock gear (weapons, equipment, perks)
Hardened package
Veteran package
Or the option to reset all stats

Youtube is filling up with loads of vids today due to the leak on the 360 also.

so can you use a token to keep a weapon for next prestige,say i want to keep acr for next prestige,can i use a token and keep it?

Do you get a prestige point every time you prestige (including previous games), or do you just get the one from every game you prestige on?

...If I have gotten 10th prestige on CoD4 will I get 10 Prestige points, or would I just get the one?

My copy from Game has been shipped, only went for the regular edition so I'm assuming it's coming via Royal Mail so could quite conceivably be here by the weekend :cool:

Doubt it, all companies have been asked to ship the game out on Monday by Activision, I also think the Royal Mail held back copies of Modern Warfare 2 for release day too

i cant get my hard drive out of its caddy in my ps3, why do they make philips screw drivers handle so small, i can get zero power into it and its shredded my hand to pieces.

had to order a caddy and screws off ebay, hopefully they are posted tomorrow and arrive on friday.

going to put my 60GB back in for now.

think i need to order a philips head screwdriver with a big handle, or a set of needle nose pliers.

I wondered this too. Looking through some forums, so I wont speculate on its validity of it, though it seems to be for emblems, titles and challenges to unlock. It also seems to be speculated that due to someone seeing regular package that the hardened will be harder challenges and veteran even harder to complete.

5 days to go though! I haven't heard a thing from Tesco yet, I hope as they are being posted to hear something by Saturday as I don't believe thay Royal Fail will be able to get it to my on Tuesday if it is only posted on Monday.

If you think about what ahs been said by people from IW/Robert Bowling, it would be my educated guess that the hardened package/veteran package is unlocked when you complete the single player on either of those difficulties and you are rewarded with various things in these packages.

Veteran package is unlocked at Prestige 10 so I'd assume 5 for the Hardened. The emblems aren't that great and it looks like I'm stuck with my ugly 9th from Black Ops on my MW3 callsign too.

Why do you say that? Does the Black Ops call sign carry over to MW3?
