I've also had similar messages about my gamerscore and about how long I've been on Xbox Live and I need to get a life because of it.

I don't mind, but this is usually coming from people who've had their account for 2 years and their gamerscore is like 75,000 and I'm the sad one who needs to get a life because I've been on Xbox Live for 6 years and my gamerscore is under 30,000. You then point this out to them and since they can't think up a come back so they just keep repeating the same 'insult' (either they can't think of a comeback or they're just too thick to understand which I prefer to believe is true

)

I do like the ones that say they have hacked your account.
I had one on COD that sent me two days of abuse because I was a camper on demo, despite him being on our team and I had both plants and he finished the game 1 kill to 1 death.

He then started abusing me over my 0.8 KDR compared to his 1.4KDR. I then pointed out my 2.2 win ration to his 0.6. He even came back for a second day and lost badly.

Normally my chat settings are private but recently opened it for gears.

I'd like to be able to block messages from randoms and keep the voice comms open, but it's either block everything or block nothing unfortunately. It would be a welcome feature just to stop all the kids complaining about being killed.

No he won't. The complaint/review system does virtually nothing unless you get lots of complaints from different accounts in a short space of time.

I must admit to messaging people telling them to "F-off then" if they quit Gears of War before the tenth wave of horde. Drives me nuts. And I have a wonderful range of languages to say it in, too.

I've gotten people suspeded because they've had offensive words in their personal information. Unless it's coincidence that their stuff goes to "Code of Conduct" a day or two after reporting them.

I'd just respond by saying "it's ok I love my life, I'm very happy." normally shuts them up.
