What newspaper do you read?

I was wondering what newspaper most forumites read if any? I imagine the Daily Mail ranks highly from a lot of the topics. I read the Telegraph.

It is a well known nickname :

The nickname The Grauniad for the paper originated with the satirical magazine Private Eye.[109] This anagram played on The Guardian's reputation for frequent typographical errors, such as misspelling its own name as The Gaurdian.[110] The domain grauniad.co.uk is registered to the paper.
The very first issue of the newspaper contained a number of errors, perhaps the most notable being a notification that there would soon be some goods sold at atction instead of auction. There are fewer typographical errors in the paper since the end of hot-metal typesetting.[111] One of their writers, Keith Devlin, suggested that the high number of observed misprints was due more to the quality of the readership than their greater frequency.[112]

He only stole it from Private Eye which was in its prime before he was even born.

Is the Metro still an offshoot of the Mail or did they change that?

I read free newspapers, metro in the morning and evening standard in the evening.

Yea, it's owned by the same people that own The Mail (Daily Mail & General Trust). I only read it when it's on the train, makes the commute a bit more bearable.

If I were to buy one, it would be The Times, but it is less than once in a blue moon that I buy one. I read the Telegraph more often as the gf's parents have a subscription.

Rarely buy newspapers anymore, when i do it's The Independant or more recently its been i.

Tend to rely on this place to tell me what news i need to know

It's an entertaining, albeit not very intelligent, read and the letters page is essentially a printed version of OcUK.
I love Salty Seagull.

Generally only go for the weekend papers, normally The Times/Sunday Times or Guardian/Observer, primarily for their sports coverage. Then again the Guardian liberals aren't half pushing me away further and further.

Never bought a tabloid, ever, absolute drivel.

Hardly ever pay for the news now though, train time is for reading books not papers...
