** OFFICIAL Football Manager 2012 Thread **

Grr board wont give me more money i managed to get an extra 8m out of them to give me total of 8.8 i cant sign any one who will drasticly improve my sqaud, I want to get Hazard atleast! >.<

But i am on 10 matches unbeaten but some of them have been draws so sitting 3rd in the league, (Playing as Liverpool) Aston Villa have stormed up to top of my game with Man UTD behind them.

Yeah can be a bit random to be honest, was playing Stoke the other night and Crouch was like Messi.

He didn't score from heading but got a hat trick and two 30 yard screamers against me... That's not realistic at all, he struggles running with the ball most the time.

Just Beat Coventry 3-2 in the Play-Off Final to get promoted to The Championship, I was getting hammered towards the end, Epic !

Might add the Russian League and Belgian, when I am ready from those.

Think I will be leaving Padova. Some 12 points after 20 games. Not even sure why I am doing so bad. Applied for Lazio while I was there, and they said they would be foolish not to consider me. Applied for Stutgard too, but they laughed If I lose next game I'm off. Hopefully go to Holland/Germany/Scotland etc. to win some trophies.
 
Left Padova as expected, end of January. Was sick of my strikers not scoring! After 6 months searching, and MANY teams laughing off my interest, I got 2 offers, Helmond Sport and St Johnstone. Helmond Sport came last in the league with 16 points and the team before had 30 points! Didn't want to go in a place I knew I was going to go down, or have a hard time. St. Johnstone also came last, but just 2 points off the before, and had a respectable 40 points. Hopefully I do well :)

Any idea on how to change the font colour. Using the dark skin with stadium backgrounds, white on the heerenveen stadium is occluded by the sky three quarters up.

Doing a bit of transfers in my St. Johnstone job. Team is bad but should finish first. If in a few seasons I get a foot in Europe, I'll leave and then go for something better ;)
 
Just got this game and i just finished my first season :)

Great way to end the season....

I know its boring that i went as City, however i will not be spending any money this year on players over 20 i have decided for a change lol!
I will also look to play as many youth players as possible!

I am now in my 2nd season and some of the players i brought in are now after a year at "EDS" level are playing the CC games and are playing awesome.

In particular;
Scapuzzi
Devante Cole
Anass Achahbar (great signing i made from Feyenoord) who has scored many at reserve level and also is now after being promoted to 1st team is scoring in the Prem.
Alex Nimley also continues to impress and as you can see earlier he scored in the Champ League final!!
 
Into my 5th season sofar, started off with middlesbrough and managed 2 seasons of mid table round about 12th both times so i thought it was time to move on so went to reading and managed to keep them up in 17th place then Aston villa offered me a job which i couldnt refuse and the first season i finished in 9th right where i was predicted to finish but i won the league cup. now with half this season gone im in 7th sofar.

one thing i have noticed which annoys me is a lot of the backup squad those that are not playing every week do seem to get unhappy more quickly in this years game
 
I have had problems with press conferences introducing new players in the past with earlier versions of FM and I still have it with FM12. :(

No matter what choices I make I always manage to make the new player unhappy with my comments. I now just decline the opportunity to introduce a player now.

I normally try to say that I don't think this player is a risk in terms of cost, wages, contract length etc and say they'll have no problems settling in, being successful or being accepted by fans. Player isn't happy. So I take a more cautious approach next time, same thing. :confused:
