So yeah I just the best news in the world. My fiancé's mum just told me it's over between me and my Fiancé.
We had the best plans set up for us. We were moving to New Zealand at the end of the month. New job, flat, car, life.

I proposed to her 2 weeks ago to show how commited I am (we had talked about it for a long time), she was really happy about it all and was excited to get away and begin our life together. Then on the weekend she stopped talking to me and her mum said that she needed space to think. I knew then it was a bad sign. So in as a knight in shining armour I said we can put off the plans of moving till next year or never and we can just settle here in the UK.
2 weeks past and today her mum tells me that it's over and thats it....
Her mum isn't out to get me, she is really nice and caring and really wanted us to be together. Don't even think I will get the ring back :(

So now I am sitting at work, shaking like a leaf that my world has just collapsed around me. Great for a Friday. I am ment to be going out tonight as well for a mates birthday party but I can't even bring myself to get up.

I can still go to New Zealand, that isn't a problem and the job is still there. Just I don't know really what to do.
I suppose by writing it out on a forum may give me a piece of mind.

Thanks for reading.

And thanks in advanced for people who troll saying that she is sleeping with someone else. Really does give me a sence of love and affection. :(

sorry to hear that dude.

pick yourself up and go,it will be a fresh start for you and moving/new job might just be what you need.

how old are you ?

How come she couldn't tell you herself, and left it up to her mum?

Feel bad for you brobeans, but don't let it bring everything to a halt. Make the move yourself and start over. :)

Ouch, im sorry to hear it.

Do you know the reason why she wants this? Have you spoken to her at all? She must have more of a reason then just cold feet for this commitment?

I know it won't help you right now, and will take time for you to feel better, but try to understand that as much as you love her and wanted to be with her, she was not the one for you if she did not want the same commitment as you. Better to know now before you made the big move, and have a chance to find someone else that is :)

Get the ring back and move to NZ. All I can say.

She will sell the ring and make a fool out of you if you don't do anything about it. Once you sort that out, then you can have a good cry about it, because that is a horribly painful thing to go through.

Reply to her mum

"Phew, what a relief I thought I was going to have to come clean about the raging herpes infection I've had for the last year, every cloud!"
