got mega heat issues with the fans where they are as you can see, it runs fine without the case but as soon as that goes on it hit 90degs in seconds, i have started another thread about case mods, but a fellow shuttle owner said i should have got a rear air flow card?

i have had this 570gtx 1 weeks so i could swap for a better air flow one?

If you want that much performance you will need a case with better airflow.

Bit like putting a V8 in a mini really.

hopefully i can return it and try the MSI one. do you think that will do the trick?

also another option is the water block? are they any good?

looking at it (it seems your case doesnt have any front intake fans)

but at a guess, i would say if u put the msi in there it would run pretty hot but of course would be far cooler than the evga one you have (as those fans just dump the heat everywhere) and probably work ok. Bear in mind while i think it would work, the heat woudl likely result in more noise so if you like a quiet case pc you may want to look at another card altogether

when ppl say waterblock to use this you need a watercooling loop in you pc to push liquid through the block to remove heat. so you would need the waterblock itself plus a radiator, water reservoir and pump. Thsi would be very expensive and I think that case would struggle to accomodate all of that.

But will it draw enough air in to keep it cool?

If you mod the case it would work.

When I saw it last Sunday in another thread I thought you were going to have heat issues.

I probably should have mentioned but didn't want to come across as a ####!

Possibly get a bigger case, but that's more expense.

Change it for a Evga 570 that exhausts out the back!

If you do decide to put it under water(in another case) Evga will honour the warranty if you take the fan off, MSI won't(if they notice that is).

If you do want to return it then you can do under the Distance Selling Regulations if you purchased it mail order.

However you only have 7 working days from the day after you received it to notify the retailer so if it's something you're going to do you'd better get on with it.
