this time next year at the earliest IMO. xmas cash in . don't think they will be in a rush with it because the only competition is in screen size and they have made it clear they don't want to go that way

IP5? I assume you mean the iPhone 5, next June is looking likely, the majoirty of Apple products only have a 6 month shelf life, How the hell the 3GS has survived I'll never know

The 4S makes sense for 3G 3GS owners but why anyone with an i4 would want to uprade unless their contract expired is beyond me

Or rather there will be no product called the iPhone 5. That's my bet anyway. The 4S is the 5th iPhone.
