If I were you i'd run. but if you do love her i'd try and get her help, talk to her immediate family and try and work a solution out between yourselfs, you won't be able to do it alone and it will take a lot of hard work to make her realise she does have an addiction.

Impossible... she doesn't have any immediate family here, she's thai. And she never admits she is wrong or never thinks she is wrong, she still thinks she's right and she believes in gambling so much, no matter how you can explain to her that it's science, it's proven, it doesn't work, she believes she can win, even after she loses like £2000 pounds she will ask for just £100-200 more and she honestly thinks she can get it all back ,and that's how it piles up. She's also an alcoholic... it's just terrible really, I feel so stupid for staying with her long but I loved her.

Because I didn't want to get done for assault, she was even going to start taking her clothes off to look like I was raping her when the police was coming and I stopped her, she is a very good liar and manipulative, I could be the one being nicked, I rather dodge a few or take a few slaps then risk being nicked.

Just hope she gets locked up. If she is foreign, and you pursue this course of action with the police then she could possibly be deported, but I doubt it, I am not sure the rules for deportation, but for entering some ones house without permission, breaking their property and then assaulting you, I am pretty sure that should come to a prison sentence :/

Sounds like you should have called the police a while ago

the worse part is she already has a caution for criminal damage but the police officer still said probably nothing will be done about it and I quote him because of our "pathetic legal system". He was a really straight up bloke and just told it how it is really, maybe he shouldn't **** it off in his position but we all know it any way. To be honest, probably the best police officer I've ever dealt with, he really impressed me, attention to detail for the CPS was superb and he's only been in the job for 3 years. She only has a working visa which expires in March but I doubt she will be deported because one of her kids is English.

Do you mean the first times she hit me? It was mainly just slaps and a few misses and we made up in the end. If you mean last night, I had to call the police literally 5 minutes within her arrival, she was like a hurricane... All this because I tried to help her with her gambling addiction... I'm never rude to her or aggressive, I always tell her how much I love her and how I'm only trying to help and that I try to do everything I can for her but she doesn't care.
