warm for this time of year

it was 8c here in the south at 4am, the forcast for the week ahead is double figures every night except thursday where it will be 9c, so still no need to turn on the heating yet for us :)

Not sure of the precise temperature but I can tell you its bloody cold in the Cotswolds this morning!

the weather maps showing anywhere down to 1c for that area at 4am, if you stick your postcode into the BBC weather website itl give you a more local temperature

Lol where are you all from? I get up at 5.10 every morning, there's frost on my car and it's like 8'c it's freezing in Sheffield

Back to normal here now. The past three nights have dropped below -2 degrees and it's only 0.8 degrees now. Now my window mounted rad really comes into it's own!! :D

Temperature has been hovering between 10 and 15 for a couple of weeks now. Annoying, as I hate it when I expect it to be cold, and it isn't. It's a wierd limbo where it's too warm to be getting out the scarves and gloves, but too cold for shorts. Just get cold already!

Winter has arrived up here first cold day.

Slippers and thick jumper on now.

Kinda upset though that I can't carry on my best Sean bean impressions of 'Winter is Coming'

I'd say for certain within the next 10-20 days all of the UK will get much colder and we will all see frost

amazing to think it is almost mid november and still not that cold well in the south anyway

Bloody freezing in London.

Camden on Saturday was noticeably warm though, or maybe that was just the extras.

No frost here either yet. I pay close attention to the weather (angler) - I normally judge time to change tactics and on the first few frosts.

Since I can remember these have always come in the first couple of weeks of Oct.... still haven't had a ground frost here yet.

Frost here you welsh chap , pure bitter all the plan of the government to say its mild get that out met office old people don't need there heating on not while we can kill a few with false weather reports save a fortune.

It was very cold in Hull yesterday, especially around the 7pm onwards mark where frost started appearing. Had to go for a walk in it and couldn't feel my face by the time I got back :(

Today isn't as cold, but still noticably colder than before. Haven't had to use the central heating yet though as I live in a student terraced house and both our neighbours have it on constantly, heating my room nicely through an old ventilation system linking the properties.
