You would not be on less than £7000 per annum, working full time.

His wife probably wouldn't be entitled to housing benefit or whatever it is shes claming, If one member of the house hold is in full time employment.

I don't understand people digging him out, theres thousands of people that do it.

For the same income, probably less, as if i did work full time she would be entitled to nothing ?? I love my time off with the family.

So you think it's fair that tax-payers should part-pay for this time off you love?

People feel far too entitled indeed.

Words fail me. :(

I love my time off with the family.

So do I, and millions of others. But why should we work, when you choose not to, to fund your quality family time? You are so very wrong. If you struggled to make ends meet on your previous wage, why on earth are you planning more children??

Like I said, it's not the publics fault there are flaws. People are going to abuse loop holes. It's as simple as that no matter how much the op gets slagged off in this thread someone else is at it just as much but you don't go shouting at them do you or even go out on the street to catch fraudsters e.t.c.

Buck up people and face the reality.

I don't think the OP is doing anything particularly wrong. He isn't scamming the system, he isn't taking advantage of anything or anyone, he is just using a system to get (legitimately) what he can't through work.
It's a flawed system, and we shouldn't be shouting at the OP for doing this, we should be shouting at the system and try and ensure that sitting on benefits isn't more profitable than work.

People like you frustrate me, we work our arse off and have to pay tax for jobless bums who are to lazy to work, you dont know how hard it is.

me and my wife have a 8month daughter and just about make ends meet with money, i sympathise with the people who have either lost their job due to redundancy who try frind a job, but people who just think that they can get money is wrong. People who worked get screwed over with everthing, Me and my wife tried to go through the council housing route when my daughter was born, they wasn't interested cause we worked and unless we were homeless didn't care less. however if we were both unemployed and i was a thug aka druggie and she was up the duff, they would house them immediately. The current system is a mess people who decide not to work and want to claim the governement should stick two fingers up to them "man up and get a job"

This is what the thread should really be about.

Well my girlfriend has decided to give up work as we will be better off on benefits. She was doing 18 hours a week part time but now she is quitting work to go on income support as having 2 kids, with one thing or another she will get £450 a week in benefits. we only just realised this and it is literally better in this country to not work, than than to try and work and bring in a poor income for effort.

We have never been on benefits, but now we have realised this, we think what the hell, this life is here for the taking, good old liblabcon as thety have made this possible.

Ahh well just think instead of living a fulfilled life, going out there and making something of yourself you can now concentrate on becoming the best battlefield player.

Words cannot describe just how much is wrong with the attitudes of people just like you.

I give op the benefit of the doubt.

If you're happy having a very limited future for you and your GF then fine, so be it.

But there is something called working your way up in life. You'll never do that if you just sit doing nothing. Employers look for something called recent experience and generally will pick someone that shows they are hard working rather than been on benefits a long period of their lives.

Good luck going no where in life. But if you're happy then who am I to judge. Just please dont have kids.
