I'm so cheesed off!

And the guy who has applied to 60 jobs and go nowhere; I hope you have tried to improve your application as youve been getting rejected?
Continuing to do the same thing over and over again expecting different results is pretty stupid.

Well it's better than lying.

Some people do have morals.

Isn't it the definition of insanity? Literally?

lol

You must be really young? If 80% of people lie about their achievements, and you dont, youve automatically put yourself at a disadvantage.

I dont see how fibbing about doing some voluntary work is immoral? Im not telling you to slaughter a virgin.

Why wouldn't you lie?

If they demand work experience, and the only way to get work experience is by working with them, then lie. Work your *** off, and be the best damn worker you can be.

Then, you put that job on your next application form and say that before that you were focusing on your education.

Nothing wrong with lying. You just need to lie about the right things. The truth is usually just an excuse for a lack of imagination.

Oh, and **** off with the self-pity. You'll get no job like that.

I'm not lying, geez why don't people have any morals these days.

"Yeh I found this really fit bird, let's smash her pasty wait what was her name again? I have 3 birds on the go, I'm cheating on my gf."

What so I put down some random company down and then they contact that company and ask for a reference then what?

It has nothing to do with morals. It's about self-preservatio. If you need a job, then you'll do what you need to get one. It's not like you're being asked to collect flesh for it. It's a lie. A way of getting the attention of an employer so that you can prove yourself worthy of the job, and any other job.

If you have no intention of being a hard-worker, and are just a dosser, then fine, still to your guns and waste away with no work complaining how 'life isn't fair', or you'll do what needs to be done. Exaggerate on the truth, sell yourself, and then prove yourself when you get given the opportunity.

Exaggerate on the truth. Any family/friends run businesses or do work you could conceivably do? Get someone to essentially give a character reference (somebody you trust.)

I understand your situation. But you need to sell yourself. Getting to the interview is the first important thing you need to acheive.

Unfortunately people want references, they want experience and they don't care if you've not had it or not had the opportunity. So you have to do what you must in this world to get by. Nobody else is going to pull you through it. Unless you're lucky.

No I'm a hard worker.

When I did my 2 week work experience when I was 15/16 I arrived there 30 mins early and left 30 minutes later than I am supposed to.

I would take a short 15-20 minute lunch break, I would get much more work done than expected.

At the end of it I got paid nothing, but I felt good helping people out.

There's a *very* thin line between being a hard worker and being a mug.

You say you have no work experience but have done 2 weeks work experience. You put that down when it asks for previous jobs. Simple.
