I also have an uncurable permanent ear disorder (menieres disease) with a hearing aid in both ears too ...

I had severe vertigo / lightheadedness while sat in the waiting room for an hour or two, vertigo + lungs dying = Nurse asking me:

- Have you had any painkillers?
- No (while looking like death, rocking back and forth and clutching onto my chest for my dear life and trying to get air in)
- Well could you take some for me please, you look like youre in a lot of pain.

Me man, me no need painkillers ..... ok I caved, please GIEF ME DEM NAOW!.

Also whenever I cough, I get sharp sudden shocks of vertigo with nystagmus and vision blurring.

At least the lungs are curable, I thought it was something really severe and I wasnt going to survive.

I'm ill aswell. Don't need cheering up though as I have every channel and load of movies to catch up on.
Been full of flu since Thursday and haven't been able to swallow anything. Not eaten properly for 3 days I'm surprised I'm still alive!

Feeling better today though and suspect I'll be able sit at the computer and play MW3 tomorrow :)

Wow what a coincidence!

Last night I started getting severe chest pain on the left hand side, difficulty breathing and had a huge swelling. This monrning I was caughing up blood and still in pain.

Just got back from A+E .... I haz pneumonia

I have a really high dose of Amoxicillin and some anti inflamotary tablets to take for 5 days and it will go away.

Joker. This sounds like most of your other attention-seeking posts.

A huge swelling with a chest infection...where? And if you're continually coughing up blood you have bigger problems than a simple pneumonia (unless it's one of maybe three atypical pathogens including TB). Firstly and foremost they'd be keeping you in hospital for a thorough series of tests.

In front of the left ribcage thanks.

I had an X ray done and my left lung capacity is decreased.

Ok brightspark, do tell me where I said continually .

I said this morning. The A+E docs clearly said 'Chest infection with a lot of swelling', and I can tell its in my left lung.

I rang NHS Direct first thing in the morning to make sure I wouldnt be wasting the A+E's time, and they told me to go there.

BS. You have no clue at all

A simple X Ray, which I had can differentiate between Pneumonia and TB. I should have asked to see the X Ray myself, but I never remember to ask to look at my results. Swelling in either lung / decreased air capacity / coughing up blood = Pneumonia.

I thought this was about cheering some guy up, not telling someone else they've been misdiagnosed.

A joke:
Q: Why did the pigeon cross the road

A: To rob the bank

Actully I was told 'Chest infection with swelling causing the pain', and given pills that are used to treat either Pneumonia or Bronchitis in the chest.

Two days of taking the pills the swelling has reduced as has the pain, but its still painful throughout the left chest / lung area when sleeping.

It should clear up with the pills, its only something else if it doesnt in which case I will prolly need to be hospitalised (a swelling in the chest that doesnt go away with antibiotics is not good :().
