Imagine how good he would have been had he not been hiding he was practically blind in one eye. Then our 'champions' can't fight with a poorly toe.

Best remembered for his three fights with Muhammad Ali, he fought in the golden and best era of heavyweight boxing in the 1960s and 70s and he ducked nobody, had a very awkward style of boxing and possessed a left hook like a sledgehammer.

Every great sportsman or sports team need a rival to bring out the best. Not only did Fraizer bring out the best in Ali, Ali brought out the best in Fraizer and ultimately, we all are the winners for that.

The fights they had were incredible, he will be sorely missed.

Legend is over used in modern sport but Joe was exactly that a true legend to the nth degree.
