My wife just text me to tell me she picked up a copy from tesco as she did her weekly shop!

YAY!

Lets see if I end up just binning BF3 now.

Well I have to say, it's got absolutely nothing on BF3 graphics. They're pretty disappointing actually.

i believe if you had kept your eyes peeled you could have got it for £32 ish using codes on hot uk deals.

so you overpaid by a fiver roughly.

people thinking they got the game for £25 when they had to pay over £50 due to points/credit are kidding themselves on. they just tacked their profit onto the add ons rather than the game itself.

DLC is just the 21st century version of the expansion pack, except

Battlefield started it with expansion packs like special forces for battlefield 2 which had multiplayer map, guns and classes specific
To it. It also had new medals and

Please don't compare it to special forces, if something compare it to the euro forces and amoured fury booster packs. Those were like dlc. Special forces had 8 maps and new armies and vehicles. The whole dlc problem is of activision/microsoft's making.

I use http://electronicfirst.com/ from a recommendation from here. I've spent about £150 with them. Only issue I had is I was buying 2100 mspoints everyday and they stopped an order because they thought my account was hacked so had to provide a picture of ID.

Great... Asda direct has let me down. I pre-ordered Mw3 for XB360 some time ago, and Royal Mail came at about 11am, I was so disappointed that they didn't even bring the game. Now I won't be able to get it till tomorrow if they decide to deliver it then.

It's 3:41pm, I honestly don't think it'll be here today or any time soon. Won't be pre-ordering games again. And I certainly won't be buying from Asda direct or their stores again.

Time to watch some youtube vids of people having fun.

Not really.

I either could pay £33 for just the game.

OR

I could pay £42 for the game & 2100 points.

£9 is for 2100 points is a good deal by anyones standards. I could flog them right now for £14 and have the game for £28.

So the only crazy people are those who didn't take up the offer of points with their game.

My missus brought my copy home on her lunch break

, had a couple of quick games on multiplayer, pretty much same as MW2 imo so far. I'm back at work tomorrow so i think i'll wait till i have some time to get into the campaign.

I think I'm the only one who thinks the BF3 graphics are pants. They looked AMAZING on the PC screens but the PS3 graphics really disappointed me. That said this just looks like MW2 with a lick of paint, which isn't all bad as at least it keeps a high frame rate consistently.

Not this nonsense again. The man who claimed it wouldn't be £25, and what happened? Tesco sell it for £25!

My copy cost £25. I also bought 2100 MS points for £16.99. In my opinion, this is a brilliant deal as I will no doubt spend the points on the first map pack anyway!

1) The game isn't £45

2) It's £35 for Elite, and it's not for 'online' it gets you a load of extras and all the DLC.

You can easily sell a 2100 code for £14 on the MM here or other forums - TheSun (lol) printed a £5 off £40 code on Saturday (paper cost 60p).

Think that means I ended up getting it for less than £25

Definitely kidding myself though, definitely.

Did you order the hardened edition? I've seen people getting the normal copy from asda direct but havent heard of a single person getting the hardened copy yet. And i'm still waiting too, heard people saying it can take up until 7pm but i dont think i'm getting mine 2day either.

Nope, just the normal copy. Looks like they've ran out of copys to deliver today or they're lazy to sort them all in one day.
