New 560Ti on the way...1280mb + 448 Cuda Cores..29th Nov Launch.

Lol...somebody broke the NDA.

Busted.:D

Anyways, launch price is said to be the same as regular 560Ti....basically its a rebadged 570.

So it's 7% less cores for about 30% less money could be a performance bargain if it comes in around the 200 mark

i am wonderign on where it will perfrom, the overlcocked 560 ti's have very very similiar to performance to gtx 570.

it has a very small window if it wants to fit between them.

Given the strange memory amount I'm guessing these will just be 580GTX cores with a few extra cores disabled? might be a way to sell cores that didn't cut it for GTX570.

IMO this is coming in answer to AMD's impending release.

Which is interesting as AMD already have the HD6950 and HD6970 to cover this off nicely (HD6950 especially).

Stulid, I agree - what of earth is wrong with GTX565TI?

It has the same memory amount and bus width as the GTX570.

i would be 'sort of' suprised if is faster than a 570. going by nvidia track record, normally that would call it gtx 660 ti :D

either way if this is reliable and we actually see new card on 29th, i just hope it means we can 'somehow' snag a cheap old 560ti/570 :)

unless theyre planning similar refreshes of the gtx 570/580 maybe??

that sounds very plausible (if this new 560ti beats out 570, they would surely have to refresh 570/580?)

I know that's what I mean but it has more CUDA cores disabled than GTX570 does, if it's what I suspect it's a great way to sell those GPU's which weren't good enough for use in GTX570 cards.

It must be, The G114 (normal GTX 560 Ti GPU) only has 384 shaders max.

The name on this card is seriously confusing, it should be a GTX 570 LE.

Damn!

My 560Ti is due to be delivered tomorrow and now I'm thinking I might as well wait a few weeks extra and get this new 560Ti if it's only going to cost £200.

If I refuse delivery will it get sent back to OCUK? Can I get a refund that way?
