Which celebs have you met and how were they?

Loads of sports stars no one here would have heard of, the most famous of which that some could possibly have heard of, is Ke11y Slater.

Gave me a lift when I hitch hiked - all round awesome guy who was down to earth enough to say hi and have a chat while I was out surfing and he recognised me a few days later :)

Jack Dee! I walked past him giving him a strange look as I knew I recognised him, and then when he walked past again I said "Hi, sorry for giving you that dirty look, I just thought I recognised you. It seems I did. Big fan of your work:)" - he smiled and thanked me shook my hand and went to pick up his son. I wasn't going to try and get a pic of him or anything like that, the poor chap's just a father wanting to pick up his son. Don't feel particularly "bothered" about meeting him, it was just strange seeing him out of context like that. :)

I asked Frank Skinner for directions once in central london (as I would any other stranger in the street) and he told me to f off. A similar thing happened with Bill Bailey in hammersmith.

Miserable sods.

Frank Bruno when I was a lot younger, at the Odeon in Southampton.

In his pocket he had signed pictures of him posing ready to hand out, he was with his daughter+wife if I remember rightly.

I wanna meet Ricky Gervais, I share his sense of humour, but at the same time I know he's a ****. I'd call him out on it and see his reaction.

All while I worked in a Hotel...

Scottish Football Team - A'holes, except for Colin Hendry, Jim Leighton has drank my saliva!
Scottish Rugby Team - Good guys, played dreamcast with them in their "relaxation" room
West Ham Utd - A'holes, Iain Wright has eaten my saliva!
Man Utd - A'holes. Nice having loads of young tarts hanging about trying to get a glimpse though!
Oasis - Noel = Good Guy, Liam = A'hole
Jeremy Clarkson - Good guy
Billy Connolly - Good guy
Terry Christian - Prize-winning A'hole. Refused to serve him in the bar and almost phoned the rozzers to get him chucked out.

Huey Morgan - Great guy who made time to chat and shared a bottle of Aftershok with me.
Mani - Met him several times. Another great guy who always makes time to chat.
Gwen Stefani - Spoke for ages about Ska music and playfully ran her fingers through my hair. Loves Scottish accents.
Evan Dando - Idiot. Full of self importance until I dumped his ass on the pavement outside the club where I worked.
Rolf Harris - A nicer guy you will not meet.
Ewan McGregor - Another great guy, even gave me a loan of his motorbike (for about two minutes).

Dave Gilmour, lead singer and lead guitarist of Pink Floyd.

Buying sandwiches in M&S Tolworth of all places 4 years ago, he was likely in that branch as opposed to Kingston as Tolworth is somewhat of a backwater and he correctly assumed hardly anyone would recognise him there.

I recognised his wife first - then looked to my side and there he was choosing a sandwich right next to me, I spoke with him briefly, it was definitely him.

He's lot more physically imposing than you might think, he had the physical appearance of a tough South London builder, but the manners and voice of a true English gent.

I sold a Mini Disk player to Vanessa Feltz shortly before the IPod/mp3 players hit the market *cackle*
Also saw Vernon Kay in the same shop, bloody giant! and i'm a tall bloke.

Alec Stewart (cricketer) - was at a training session at the local school that his brother (Neil) ran and he popped in, was very pleasant from what I remember (about 12 years ago now)

Tiff Needell - was at Thruxton doing passenger rides in an M3 when myself and my dad popped down there for his driving experience (60th b'day present to drive a 458 Italia). Was a really nice guy, taking time out between runs to have pictures taken and sign autographs :)

John Terry and Eidur Gudjohnsen - didn't talk to them (they were at Manchester Airport) but was taken aback at what big buggers they are

That's about it from memory, if I lived a few miles further out (Oxshott area) then there would be loads :)
