The 64 player maps are a bit chaotic ... but no reason why it has to be 32 players. Somewhere in between and probably each map has it's optimum number. So yeah, in principle I agree.

Very true some maps with 64 players does not work as there to small 40/45 player would be better

Anyone had the problem where if you have Raw Mouse Input turned on, any movement you make, be it keyboard or mouse, seems to "lag" whereby it takes a while to actually do the action, but once it does, it extends the action ridiculously?

Turning Raw Input off kinda helps, but what I noticed is that it is actually Bitdefender 2011 on my machine. Turned Firewall / AV off and this fixed the issue.

Yeah - fair enough. Fancy having a go with a group sometime myself where I am 'aligned' and don't have to guess the current objectives of a headless squad/team ;)

We've currently closed our clan for new guys and gone to invite only. If you're still interested you can jump on our mumble and maybe get an invite from one of our members to join. Details on our website, see in sig.

Ok, once the first month is up we normally have a vote on our forums and see what mode, sizes, roation etc want to be seen and take it from there.

We've actually taken our the cluster **** maps i.e metro to make it more fair... that said when Back to karkand comes out i for one will be voting for our 64man to go to 24/7 Back to karkand roation... yeeeeeeeah buddy.

It'll be interesting to see if they let Back to Karkand have its own client, or they same client but just added maps. I would assume it's going to be it's own client, what with different weapons and vehicles etc...

Its a strange one to explain.... Its nice to play on your own server with your own rules etc. Rather than paying £65/month and playing on another clans server due to yours being empty.

Its also nice for clan members to join a clan server which is theirs if you get me.

Any1 else agree with this?

+1 for 32 player on 64 player map :D

On another matter.. I'm not normally one to rage, but when I have a recon on my team in conquest who hides in bushes near a flag owned by the enemy to up their KD ratio rather than cap the flag... Next time I'll bring a tank and park it on them.

Well they have already confirmed that the weapons from karkand will be available in the normal game also, which is cool.

WTB New Medal:

"Get banned 5 times for being too good in ground assault aircraft"

Seriously, I am 1 away. Got banned again last night after I gun ran an LAV full of people and killed them all. Cheers :/

Some great games last night a dn then later on found myself with 4 other people on 64 server when the 6 players on the other side left cause they were getting their asses kicked.

So we decided to a knife only fight as medics 3 vs 2. Great fun and learnt a few new close combat moves plus a shack load of knive kills and points. :D

Anyone got a system like mine and can recommend a profile of settings (gfx) to use? Auto says high for most part with no aa

4gb ddr2 6400ram
gtx 460 1gb latest drivers overclocked to 790/1000/1584s (about speed of 470 or 570 ish)

If at 1920x1080 you should be fine at high settings with msaa off, deferred low, HBAO either of or switched to SSAO, Shadows don't make that much difference but turn em down if need be.

It ran fine in multiplayer with those settings for me before i switched from Core2Duo to i5, same GPU and RAM amount.

This was just on reddit, BF3 related anyway :p

Oh they do , especially from OFF to HBAO. On that system i'd recommend not going near HBAO.
