Just wondering what is this case actually like for air cooling; I keep reading a myriad of different opinions, I really like the look of it but will only be air cooling by air when I come to build my new system in the new year...

Not good for air, 700/800D series are built for custom water.

If you're after a similar yet built for air cooled case check out the 650D or 600T.

Really don't like the looks of cases like the HAF series, The last case I had was antec's 902 which just became irritating to look at in the end...

Why would you take the 650d over the 600T?

The Silverstone is a gorgeous case... one which I am already interested in but am abit put off by reviews regarding the size, internally...

I used the 800d with air cooler with my system below in sig (originally had crossfire 5850) and never had any issues with temps.

i also had a 800d on air and never had a problem.

ive got a haf-x now and wished i kept the 800d because there is only a slight difference in temps.

Did you guys replace stock fans and add fans to all the aditional slots?

If so what fans did you use?

What do you mean by good for air cooling ?
I do have 700D so thats identical to 800D.

Never had problems with air cooling it.

I found my temps mobo temps went down moving from a lancool K62 to an 800D however I did replace the stock fans as they move next to no air :p
