How long for Fridge motor to burnout?

Just got up from my nightshift last night and discovered my girlfriend left the fridge door open this morning when she went to work at 6:30am. It wasn't wide open but it was cracked open about a couple of inches. I only just found it so it's been open for just over 6 hours.

Is the motor likely to have burnt out with that length of time? Any easy way of telling?
 
I doubt it very much, i've left my fridge open overnight plenty of times by mistake, mainly due that the cabinet the fridge is in makes the door look closed when actually open a crack.

Hard to tell! It's pretty quiet, it's a new standing fridge freezer only a year old. As I've just closed the door i can't really tell if it's cold inside at the moment.

I accidently left my fridge door open whilst I went on holiday - 5 days- motor was fine and fridge is still running 5 yrs later.
 
Fridge Motors are found on HGV's - usually with "Thermoking" written on them, they do have diesel operated motors as such, and even these don't "Burn out" of you leave the door open.

My Dad has an old fridge (older than me, I'm 40!) in the garage for his beer & wine, the seal is long knackered so unless he props a brick against the door, it stays open - often for days on end. Even this old relic has yet to "burn out"

That said, I expect a "Spec me a new fridge" thread from the OP anytime.... :D
