Hello.
I have a SGS2 but the Mrs is still on the Desire and will be till at least the new year, only problem is shes running leedroid and quite frankly its a slow ass piece of ****.

Does anyone know/recommend a rom that is CLEAN, has SENSE and requires no EXT2,3 or 4 partitions?

She doesnt care what fancy features it has doesnt have , she just wants it too work.

Note: I understand that sense is big and as such ext is pretty much required, but someone must have got a rom going without the need for ext?

why not just do it properly and set up an ext3 partition? it's not difficult.

download mini-tool partition wizard, download your sense ROM of choice from from xda developers, download the recommended radio. backup all the stuff you want backing up and take it off the SD card, boot into recovery and mount the SD card to usb. then follow these instructions to format properly:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/SD_card_partitioning

Then copy over the ROM and Radio.

then unmount SD card (unplug the phone), factory reset, wipe davlik cache, cache. Then flash with rom, it'll take ages. once booted and you've keyed all your settings in reboot the phone to recovery and update radio. Once that's done you can just restore the backup stuff; shouldn't take more than an hr

the part that takes the time is the flashing, the sorting of the SD card is easy - it's more of a pain to avoid it than just doing it

I'm pretty sure you'll run out internal space pretty quickly with Sense and no EXT?

If I were you, I'd ditch sense. S-Off, flash the CM7 partition table, and install CM7.1 ;)
