loving the modded mp5. favorite weapon so far and i think im level 29 or something.

the maps are a little confusing, but i just run and gun most of the time anyway. so it doesnt matter which way im going :p highest killstreak is 12 so far :(
 
An update on the status of Elite.

Since Tuesday’s launch, Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer has been working great. In fact, the amount of players online is even higher than what it was this time last year for Black Ops. Have fun -- we hope you continue to enjoy MW3 to the fullest.

However, on Call of Duty Elite, we are having trouble scaling the service to meet demand. Many of you are trying to get in and unfortunately, you can’t right now. You’re frustrated, we know it, and we know we need to fix it. Our teams have been working non-stop to identify issues and resolve them as quickly as possible. Again, these issues have no impact on the performance of the game.

We want to share with you what we know at this time and what we are doing:

At launch, our registration and login systems were crushed by gamers trying to enter the Elite site at the same time. We have now fixed the registration and login systems, but we have found that the greater than expected demand is crashing servers. We’re immediately deploying multiple additional servers to beef up the system. We are also going to temporarily limit access to Elite services on both the console applications and website while we build additional capacity and scale. We’ll look to increase access to greater numbers of users as soon as possible.

As more users log into the Elite system, you may find that the wait to get into Elite is longer than you expect. We know how frustrating that is and we appreciate your patience. Many of you are now able to see your player card and stats, but if you don’t see all your recent matches or career summary, don’t worry -- your gameplay data for your entire careers in both Black Ops and MW3 is safely stored, and it will all be available to you once these issues are resolved.

And for our premium members who are Founders, know that granting your status and delivering your in-game benefits in MW3 is a priority. Also, to ensure that every premium member receives their full money’s worth, we are immediately and automatically extending your membership to Call of Duty Elite by 30 days at no additional cost. If you’re still considering becoming a premium member, we’re going to extend Founder eligibility until the end of the month, and you will also receive the additional 30 days of access.

Yeah the CM901 is pretty nice I picked a silenced one up on Hardhat and used it get my first flawless 17-0 on team tactical.

EDIT: The stats are poor for close, but targets only have to be down 2 health for it to be a 2 bullet kill.

It maybe placebo, but I've turned the theatre recording off. It's of little use to me whilst I can't go 1st person on someone besides myself. I think this game will settle down as fibre is rolled out. Probably my last COD this gen anyway.
 
I'm hoping that the first map pack has Terminal, Highrise and maybe Skidrow. Heck, I'd take any of the original MW2 maps.

The maps are so dull, no colour at all.

Still loving the game, the P90 is a beast!
 
I dont mind it, but the spawns are atrocious! enemies can literally spawn on top of you, I understand it was to ease spawn trapping but its broken in my opinion.

I have a video of me killing someone, then 1 second later that player has spawned behind me and killed me. I will upload if they ever fix the damn game!

Takes all the fun away if you cant even clean an area out without them spawning behind you
 
^ yep exactly the problem we had today.

I will try to clip a game we had earlier where I tested bullet reg out, after I thought bullet hits were not actually registering (no assist after pumping bullets into someone that a team mate killed is when we noticed it), I stood close range to someone who was prone, aimed directly at his back with the Type95, first burst didn't register AT ALL, not even hitmarkers :)

Its a fun game but there are a few problems, but that's what patching is for.....well hopefully.

I like the MP5 and have been using it over the UMP. I agree that the C3P0 is pretty good though.
I've been using the Type 95 with Rapid Fire and a Silencer on and it's frigging lethal! I'm not usually a fan of burst fire weapons either.

There are definitely some issues with shots just not registering at all. Me and my friends have both noticed it. When i've got people clearly in my sights and I fire I sometimes don't get any hit markers at all as well. :confused:

I don't know if it's my connection or not but it feels like everyone is using shotguns, with the range of sniper rifles. Whilst I'm stuck with a water pistol.

Every single 1 on 1 I'm losing, same with knives. It's as though i have not even fired or attempted to stab it's getting very annoying.
 
Had so much fun today online. Nearly every map is brilliant; they're exciting to play and aren't boring and dull. As well as this, the weapons are also great. No frustration at all, and come top 99% of the time! Oh, I was playing MW2.

How do you all feel about being ripped off???

anyone seen the vid on youtube which shows mw3 playing and when it crashes it says mw2. lol basically its a £40 mw2 map pack.
very shoddy from their part. its not even a new game.

lol. i honestly was looking to buy it until that. wanted it for pc but didnt want to pay £40 from steam. way too expensive for a mw2 map pack. I avoided black ops and glad i did. loved mw1 and wow mw2 not so much but it was still fun.
this just looks like its a game that came out in 2009. i think its shameful they havent poored any of the money from the "best selling titles of all time" back into the enjoyment of the people who made them the best selling titles of all time.

Dont you feel the same that we should have a new game engine by now? its 10 yrs old ffs
 
Just got absolutely raped on mp. Jumped on halfway through a map and it was epic, next map I got the highest score on my team with 960 :( The other team was just too good, didn't help that at one point it was 6 of them against 3 of us :(
