So what type of characters are people playing? I have a battle mage type that has a one hander and spell with light armour.
Speccing as destruction and one hand at the moment.
I tried as complete mage type but I missed smacking things in the face!

Just noticed a way of getting Skyrim for free, albeit technically thievery.
HMV have empty boxes out on the shelf however these are obviously retail ones as they have the activation key printed on the inside. Was tempted to take a picture of them and use them but my conscience got the better of me.

I played about 7 hours of mage last night but ended up switching to sword n board today as it was a bit too easy with the amount of damage they put out. Plus a peek at the concept art for the Daedric and Dragonbone armors sealed the switch. Mage robes all look poo.

I played about 7 hours of mage last night but ended up switching to sword n board today as it was a bit too easy with the amount of damage they put out. Plus a peek at the concept art for the Daedric and Dragonbone armors sealed the switch. Mage robes all look poo.

Amazed at how good this game looks on my TV, i admit i was slightly disappointed when i fired it up on my 1920x1080 monitor, but now i am playing on my 1280x720 32"tv it looks absolutely stunning! One of the most beautiful games i have ever played.
It must be because it is just a better quality screen tbh, my monitor is a BenQ which cost me £130 and my TV is a Samsung which cost £300. Even though the resolution is much lower, it is like night and day. And perfect as i am playing from the sofa with the controller.
I am still not getting great fps though, even at that res, it is ok until i get to an area with lots going on. I have just reached Riverdale and i get around 25-40fps! and i have turned a few settings down, i would have thought at 1280x720 i could have maxed it with a 6950 tbh.
I have not encountered any bugs/technical problems yet though.

who cares about cf? and no, its high v ultra. hardocp are idiots. if it was high on the 6970 theyd get the fps i get which is never under 40, and around 50-60, and thats with a crappy cpu.

Easy fix, drop sound down to 16bit 48000hz (dvd quality). Right click your sound icon in taskbar and playback devices, it is in that area somewhere. I had the same issue.
Currently level 7 stuck to doing the main quest and some side quest i find on the way. The caves are massive and very fun. Ive killed one dragon, and countless zombies and bandits. Im really liking the 2 shouts i got, i found some more but i cant use them yet.

I wonder if that's a certain sound card issue, mines set to it's default 24bit 48000hz Studio setting without any issues but have seen so many people having to lower theirs to get past the intro.
