lol, new to Elder Scrolls games?
There is, but only to places you have laready visited
btw i have also tried removing the INI tweaks and they do not alter FPS at all, in fact i can't really find any setting that does!
I have turned all AA and AF options off and changed turned all fade settings down and they do not impact FPS even in the slightest, surely this is a bug/something that will be patched?

There are two methods. Click on the destination via the main map if you've already visited or use a wagoneer outside a city to take you somewhere you haven't been, or at least close too it. Doing it that way you'll miss out on a lot of what the game has to offer though. Better off just buying/stealing a horse.

239,999 I just got sidetracked by beer and shut the game down for the first time in 10 hours
Played a few hours of this tonight - it's absolutely amazing, just what I was hoping for after playing Morrowind and Oblivion. There is so much to take in, every time I plan on going somewhere I have to stop off and explore 5-6 different places. 
You know what I love about Elder scrolls? The first thing I did after I finished the first introduction sequence, I ran about for 10 minutes just collecting herbs/flowers just because I can! Haha
The music is absolutely sublime, really immerses you into the game.

Arrrgh, it's so stupid that you can't turn your horse on the spot or walk backwards. I walked up to the edge of this cliff thing, and in trying to turn around I've ended up like this. Any ideas how I can avoid death?
Did you get the Stomp! or the Club!? I barely survived the stomp and ran away but a mate on ventrilo got the club at roughly the same time and ended up in orbit lol.Yeah I was NOT expecting that when I let a giant get too close
