Hi what speed is best for this pump.
I found 5 too fast for bleeding as the water in the res is just too active to allow the air to rise properly.

Run mine on 2 also and that is through cpu gpu and two rads. Tried turning it higher and noise increased as did flow rate but didn't see any great differences in temp so turned it back down to keep it quiet.
found 5 to be opretty quiet aswell.
is this with a top?
found 5 helped blleding with my dual res, but use 3 for both pumps.
one thing ive always wondered is it ok to switch speeds while the pumps are running?
I can't hear my D5 running on 5 at all.
Yeah, I have the EK top (version 2 I think.) It is only a slight hum I get on 5 so it isn't noisey at all on 5, just noisier than on 2 and as my temps don't differ why run it on 5.

Surely flow rate wouldn't make a massive difference.
Going through the blocks slower is cancelled out as it travels through the rad slower
if it goes though the blocks slower, then it has more time to take the heat in. As it goes slower through the rads, there's more time to disperse that heat. Obviously, if it spends too much time in the block, it will heat up too much
Going through the blocks faster is cancelled out as it travels through the rad quicker.
no, just doesn't picj up enough heat from the CPU and doesn't disperse much at the rad either.
Obviously within reason, or am I wrong..?
