It looks like the most demanding thing the OP has done is run a 16K Super PI test which took 0.078 seconds.

Cooling bottlenecked tho' mate, have been from 4.8, qq.
It was Intel burn x20 runs stable at 4.8 but temps were in the high 80's.

if you haven't done so ready post the 1m super pi result in the sandybridge 5ghz club thread, see how you measure up against the other i2500k users.
good choice not running prime etc on [email protected] as that'll bomb out straight off, you're going to need much higher volts to make it stable.
