The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Bah, I wanted to play more now that my chest is better .... But I actually caught a terribad head cold too !!! :x

**** you opportunistic infection, *******E£&£&£"*((£!GWRHJ|KM|T|GH :(

Just started playing it and like it so far. Some of the graphics look great at a distance. And then I blocked with my shield. Ughhhh ... awful low res textures that just shouldn't be there in this day and age. I'm not a massive graphics whore, but really ... are the developers looking at releasing any hi-res textures or will it be down to the modding community again?

someones already started improving the textures :D

The originals look better IMO [sorry]... anyone else seeing very choppy frame rate in the smallest of dungeon tunnels, yet its fluid outside?... very odd.

they arent mind :P

the wall infront of the house looks much better as does the post the camera is rigth next to, he floor i dont know it looks to clean.

While in the Q menu you can further assign numerical hotkeys to said abilities by hovering the mouse over them, and pressing the desired number.

Game runs great no crashes etc.

Started off with a Wood Elf, gonna go down the 'ranger' route. What skills should I look at investing in?

Also everytime I get into close combat, do I have to tab into my inventory and select a melee weapon...or is there a keybind somewhere? :p

Favourite an item in inventory with F when you hover over it then press Q outside out of the inventory to access favourites.

Phew.. I don't want to knock anyone's hard work... all efforts are appreciated, but 'too clean' were my thoughts; the original textures just blend in better with everything else.

Anyway, it may not be perfect, but I am loving this game :D... GOTY for me, without doubt.

Finally got the 5k needed to get the house in Whiterun, it's a right hovel to begin with until you upgrade it. It's pretty tough clawing that much cash together, must have sold about 8million weapons and pretty much exhausted all the shops cash!
