Looking for a new 'cheaper' ISP and have been looking at ICUK

Any thoughts/opinions? Any good?

Interested in their Home Broadband Option 2 package £14/month 5GB Peak 100GB Off-Peak 1 month contract.

They were fine when I was with them on Max, was a few years ago though.

Yes, have already looked on Samsknows.

The other option I'm considering is Be.

I am trying to find a cheaper provider, currently paying £20/month. I have looked at Zen etc but they are to expensive.

Can you get Sky LLU? £10 a month if you move line rental to them.

I've read some poor reviews for Plusnet which puts me off (BT owned). Are they better now?

Forget Sky.

Plusnet is OK as long as you expect budget performance.

Sky's LLU service is excellent, though I wouldn't recommend moving your line to them.

I was with them for 9 months (before moving somewhere I could get Infinity) and haven't a single complaint.

Only an option if they're in your exchange, though, I can't imagine their Max service being up to much.

Which LLU providers are available at your exchange?

On new orders it is now, they changed it a few months ago so now if you want LLU you need to take the line rental aswell.

Sky really is excellent if you have Sky tv, anytime+ is really good...if you're not a fan of Sky then it is down to someone like BE or similar...

I've looked at BE and its Value package @ £17/month. It's an option but is more expensive than the ICUK package I'm looking at and also has a 12 month contract.

You're almost always going to have a better experience on LLU.

Out of that lot, I'd probably go for Be* or o2 (if you've got an O2 phone).

C&W vivaciti.net are someone no FUP and unlimited.

We have been with them for a number of years and are happy.
