Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Got the Air Radar, now I can finally see when people are trying to blow me out of the sky :D

Got more unlocks for the planes than I do for the tanks :eek:
 
Anyone know if there is any pluggins for Logitech G15 keyboards for BF3.
There was support in BC2 and 2142...but BF3 no as yet that ive seen.
 
Jebus! I must have a Win/Loss ratio of something like 1:25. So many people just do not know how to play this game, it's so infuriating. You look at the scoreboard at the end of the round and 75% look like they've done nothing.

(Damn you Skyrim for not turning up, could have ditched BF3 for awhile)
 
Today, i got a very nice present.

Everyday i have normally have to start my server around 10:30 and invite people like mad.

Yesterday i started it around 10:30 got it maxed by 11:00, its been full ever since its still full now at 9:00! :D

it's wierd though. Some rounds i have had the most kills on my team. the next ill have about 5:and hardly got into any action. it's not that i don't know what im doing - it's just a case of spawning in the wrong place at the wrong Ttime repeatedly.

save me a slot once this hangover has gone down a notch or 3 ill join.
 
What sort of weapons are people settling on? Seen a lot of 416s about, same with M249's and SCARs.. Anyone unlocked anything that's been particularly impressive?

To be fair, those are the first unlocks so they're the weapons people get used to and get the unlocks for first.

The F2000 is a bit of a beast, but I think the 416 is more accurate at longer ranges. I'm not keen on the type 88 LMG. The DAO-12 is pretty awesome once you get the extended mag, the USAS-12 probably beats it but it also unlocks a lot later!
 
I haven't unlocked a great deal but for assault I generally use the standard rifles with foregrip, 4x scopes and heavy barrels. Current machine gun of choice is the M249. Engineers weapons I tend to dabble with different ones, usually the M4 or AKSU. For recon its the SV98.

Only awesome weapon is the G3 with co-op unlock, best assult weapon in game, period.
240b for assult or if your fancy some fun, asus12.
sniper as far is the 39B, took acepin sniping at 500m+

If you play assult, the G3 is the gun to have.

Gave one of the shotguns a try.... did not go well - seems you need two shots if they're more than 3 feet from you, and after 10 feet you may as well switch to pistol. Utterly useless.
