Right, caved in and got this.

Didn't enjoy Oblivion too much, couldn't get in to it. Going to stick with this though

Hope it plays well on my system, haven't used this PC for gaming other then Minecraft / Football Manager.

14 hours in, 6 dragons killed. Done none of the story virtually apart from up to the first dragon and im lvl 17. Got overtime at work tomorrow so wont get another chance to play till tues night! gutted!

While there the thieves guild has approached me. Should o puruse this? or are they a little but scummy?

The best armour is made, you can improve an items quality with a high enough smithing level.

Level 30 atm and still hardly seen any at the blacksmiths/traders. Tried fast traveling a few times between cities too but haven't seen any for ages.

Been playing this game ALL weekend, it's just beautiful. A little thing I have been doing is, getting lovely images at FOV 100 and using them for wallpapers for my desktop.

Well that's odd. I'm 33 now but the blacksmiths in Solitude and Whiterun have both had them for sale occasionally.

Level 13 now and Just crafted the Elven armour set. Wood Elf with focus on Archery/Sneak.

open console (button above tab) and typ fov ** where the stars are whatever you want it to be, I use 85 myself.

Feel as though i've missed so much. Never really played games like this. Pretty sure im gonna go back and start again. Spend more time at the first place i started at, Riverwood and get my smithing skills up. Died so many time at Movarths Lair, North east of Morthal. ****** vampires.

Well I've managed to finally reach a compromise with my keybinding preferences, and the defaults which allow for full menu functionality. Pretty much just have to leave "toggle POV" as F, and "ready weapon" as R, off the top of my head.

I thought BF3 was going to be GOTY.. how wrong I was..

Bethesda nailed this, there is very little lineage to the game, nothing feels like its been recycled.

I'm having a blast to say the least!
