its not battlelog that throws you out of the game !, likewise its not battlelog that slows the game down, its just the weight out of how much content it has to load. The load would just be at a launch screen instead of at a web page. BF2 wasn't exactly quick to lead either if you remember.

my spec in sig and running no problems at all on ultra settings and 1920x1080

*will probably crash every time i try and play it now lol

Indeed, I am a fan of the browser launch thing. I can hit join game, quickly check my emails and then enter straight to the action with a single mouse click.
 
Anyone else noticing a sharp decline in the amount of people playing? Im sure thats a lot to do with the release of the latest reskin of of call of duty but literally tons of empty servers the last few days.

This always tends to happen anyway after a few weeks from release. I remember when BFBC2 was released and within a few weeks there were loads of empty servers due to declining player numbers.
 
i cant believe some peeps are already level 36........either they have no job or no life........or both.

qq my level 3 almost 4, really not had the time to play games of late :(

The IRNV was all fun & games when I first unlocked it, but now I've got used to the gun handling and learnt most of the maps, I have no need to for it. Most people will get more kills using that when going round a corner, as an enemy is glaringly obvious. Once you get used to checking certain positions, you really don't need it - and can start using scopes that are more beneficial to your play-style!

Been whoring the USAS-12 with frag rounds and extended mags recently. Gun obliterates everything in it's path - not matter the range. The best thing is you don't even have to be aiming at people to get the kills half the time - Grand Bazaar is a great example! The cluster bonk that is B (alleyway) really lets the USAS rip into teams. If anyone hops into one of the little rooms on either side, you can just pound the entrance and you'll still get hits / kills as the rounds explode on impact and damage everything near it! OP is an understatement!

Those that just "gun-ho!" with the machine-guns with a bi-pod deployed should learn to control the recoil a bit more... Firing in bursts will net you a lot more kills than just unleashing the entire clip. Something like Davamand Peak, you can sit in the tunnel looking down one of the side entrances, bi-pod out, extended mags as well - that's 200 rounds you've got to play with. Don't waste 70% of those by holding Mouse1, use 4-6 shot bursts and watch the bodies fall and the kills rank up.

I second that, a mate n I were thumping rpgs as fast as possible into the back of an LAV and still were not able to do more damage than the engineer could repair.

Fair enough u should be able to hop out and do a good fast heal but there has to be some sort of cooldown or something eventually, you shouldn't be able to repair indefinately.

You can't, so you are meant to take that time to relocate so you can hit it's sides and back.

cause a lot of people hit it hard on release then have a break few days also cod and skyrim is out .

think in the long run it will do okay though.
 
Just Re-installed BF3 to a dedicated OCZ Vertex 2E 60GB SSD and now no more long waiting times when joining servers..couple of seconds and im in.

Also it no longer crashes on first attempt of joining servers anymore....wierd but good!

Excuse me?

I'm level 37 and have played for 51hours.

I work a full time job 5 days a week 9 to 6pm and have been playing since the 25th. I have a life outside of BF3 thank you very much.
 
I love using the APC on grand bazaar.

Most people spam the alleyway, so I just rock up alongside it and wait for teams to pour out in to my path :D

Got a few double and triple kills earlier doing it. It's like no one bothers, so I feel obliged haha
