West India won toss, batting first, 181/4

Ojha finally playing test again and guess what? His figures are 3/40 going at 1.73 per over. Amazing bowling, what took the selectors so long to bring him back?

He's just got his 15,000th test run. What a player

Indeed what a player he is...15k runs what an awesome achievement for the little man and he doesnt look like hes going to retire anytime soon...i reckon he wants to hit 20k runs before he calls it a day...would love to see him get that record.

It's one hell of an achievement. :) The record says it all:

Matches - 181
Runs - 15,005
Highest score - 248*
Batting average - 56.25
Centuries - 51
Wickets 45
Bowling average - 53.68

Indeed an excellent player and well deserving of the plaudits. Hopefully he will cap it off with a century too! This thread, however, seems to only have one player in it :p

Fantastic to see Sachin reach 15,000! He didn't even look as though he was aware of it when he was on 14,999. It would be great to top off such an amazing milestone to with his 100th first class century.

Lol what the hell? India win on a sub continent pitch before the 5th day! That after having a first innings defecit. Wow :p

Hiya mate. He currently has 78 first class centuries. Sky Sports news team are retarded

He's actually about to get 100 international centuries, which is much more unbelievable.

Spot on with your correction :) Don't know what I was thinking!!

Another complete joke of a series, no doubt.

I bet the Aussies are rubbing their hands in anticipation.

Sachin out for 38. No hundred today.

Being on 99 centuries is proving quite crippling for Sachin and I'm sure he feels it every time he comes out to bat. I just hope he gets over the milestone soon so we can see him more relaxed and back to his natural best.

Hundred for Dravid, fifty for VVS. India 310/3 at nearly 4 an over. India well on top here.

It was the same when he was on 34 centuries (the then record was 35, so he was nearly there) took him a whole year to get his 35th hundred. I wouldn't worry about it, especially with Dravid in such good form ;)

India 631/7 declared. Windies end the day 34/2

Brilliant knocks from Laxman (176 [not out] off 280) and Dhoni (144 off 175, including 5 sixes :p)

Thinking about it, that's the first hundred that Dhoni has got in a while.

Also, it's almost a shame that Laxman and Dravid are finding brililant form. There's no indication that they're retiring anytime soon, and that means India's no closer to finding players to replace the 'big three'.
