F2000 was a beast in BF:BC2, i used it a lot because of how quickly it killed people, yet no-one complained about it there.
I understood the calls for nerfing IRNV and Flashlights etc, but it looks like people want a nerf for everything that kills them.
Ever thought it's the player and not the weapon? Some players are amazing at getting the best out of rubbish weapons and make those weapons appear godlike, just because of how good they are at the game.

I beg to differ, sniper rifles are pretty much as powerful as they are. Also, the M98B isn't that much more powerful than the SV98, it is a little bit but it's mostly about the bullet drop difference.
To be honest, i don't think any weapon is overpowered at all.
Are a lot of people still playing this or is everyone hooked on Skyrim?I really need to jump on a server with you lot at some point, should be fun!
Maybe I'm wrong but you would either play Skyrim or BF3? I mean, who has the time for both!

Indeed, It's been a long time since gaming has been as good as this. I feel bad having not played BF3 since Thursday but Skyrim is Epic. I shall return though, infact now seems like a good time lol.
I guess it's always nice to have a choice. I know one thing is for certain, Activision will not be getting my hard earned cash this year!
One thing I have found when flying jets is that K+M seems to be better than pad/joystick. I know that sounds crazy but I have tried the below two products and found that while I could position well, my aim was way off. The products that I tried were:

Anyone finding as a chopper pilot that the jets are abandoning trying to kill you with guns/rockets/air-to-air and simply ramming you out of the sky? It's a lame, stupid tactic that unfortunately seems to pay off. Why on earth they don't lose control/explode is ridiculous. The chopper on the other hand either explodes or simply plumits to the ground in an unctrollable dive. 
I found this too, after being happy to have an excuse to dig out my cyborg evo I have now gone back to mouse + kb. Still trying to use the joystick for helis though, anyone found the mouse + kb better for that too?

Anyone finding as a chopper pilot that the jets are abandoning trying to kill you with guns/rockets/air-to-air and simply ramming you out of the sky? It's a lame, stupid tactic that unfortunately seems to pay off. Why on earth they don't lose control/explode is ridiculous. The chopper on the other hand either explodes or simply plumits to the ground in an unctrollable dive.
Ive found this recently, always have to play the game of dodge the jet heading towards my face game
so smogsy server seems to be the most popular OcUK one at the moment.
i just wish we could get some decent team games going.
being in a heli with a decent pilot / decent gunner or playing as part of a squad playing as a team makes the game so much better....
would be even better if you could all 32 players off ocuk.... at least you know what ever vehicle you get into its going to be driven by someone half decent with intentions of team play....

Just a few questions. hopefully i will be up and playing tonight :
1) what browser have you guys found to work the best ?
2) 6950 2g / i5 2500k / 8gb ram , what FPS could i expect with all ultra and all the trimmings on at 1680x1050 (Multiplayer)
3) Any tips on which drivers for the above card are best for the game. ?
4) Are people successfully using joysticks, read a lot about not being able to bind them.

Yes, this happens to me all the time. I'm also finding that I getting rammed by other jets. Just plebs who can't fly to be honest.
