I just killed a Dragon stood near it and was surrounded by a swirling gold whirlwind type affair yet I havent got its soul.

Check the status line on the 'shouts' menu under 'magic'... it should list the number of souls you have. If you haven't got any, I'm not sure.

Anyone else having problems following the storylines? I'm hopeless at remembering names and stories etc. I'm just about holding on to the main basic storyline. Such a shame as I can see it's probably got tons of stories that interweave but I can barely remember one or two names! Let alone the tons that are thrown around when speaking to various characters.

I fear I might have some kind of retardation!

I said to myself i wouldnt join any guilds. the story line made me end up joining the thieves guild....then the nightingales ...NOW IM THE LEADER OF THE THEIVES GUILD ? wtf has happened there! iv just went on the the main story about finding why the dragons are attacking. But i gotta go some where first to do other things before i continue on with that story. Im confused.

bc i came across this one and it never attacked:

they don't always attack ....

I've seen 4 or 5 dragons just flying overhead harrassing the neighbourhood

it might be scripted that they land and fight when you have already got a power word that needs a dragon soul to charge it

Like 1 for PC, xbox, PS3. Or all together.

Is there any reason that when I go around town that people say I should see a doctor? I did get poisoned quite far back, but how long do the effects last?

I'm loving the game so far, but there is one major problem for me. I use a sword in my right hand and spell in my left and there is no way to block. I thought you would be able to block with the sword, turns out you can't. It's a pretty big oversight if you ask me.

Completely random. I had a dragon attack, and then a CTD just as I was about to kill it. I reloaded the point just before, and this time the dragon just circled overhead a bit then flew off.

They last until you have them cured

Have a look in the menu under Magic->Active Effects. It'll show an effect in red if it's bad.

You probably have a disease

The dragons will attack if you hit them with a spell or arrow

Until you cure it

You can check what you have by looking in active effects in magic.

They are all the same.

I got mine yesterday and it makes interesting reading (and comes with the big black map).

I wish I had got the collectors edition of the game (the art book and making of DVD) though.

Going to look at mods and start again from the beginning. Just been messing about to explore the game world. Found some bugs, but there is something about this game: EPIC.

Just one, it is awesome, 655 A4 pages + an separate A2 map with everything on. Very small font as well so a huge amount of detail on each page.
