Is there a way to plug an aerial from a sky box into my computer to watch TV on it rather than the TV?

Had a look around and nothing seems to make much sense, had a look at some K World stuff but no idea if it would work.

Also what kind of software would I need to view this?

Thanks,
ng93

p.s. I assume this is legal as i'm not going to be recording or streaming anything?

quite simple,i use HVR900HR usb tv adaptor,i have virgin media box into this, also works with sky,but why do you need an adaptor,if you have sky and internet connection, just sign in and use sky go,piece of cake and you can watch all your subscription for free

would you use the TV out on the sky box to aerial in on the PC cards input to get the signal, using the sky box to change the channel ?

Kenneth.

thanks for the replies :)

Do you want to watch Freeview (via an aerial) or do you want to watch what your Sky box is outputting?

what the sky box is outputting. basically ive got an aerial cable from the sky box into my tv, and i want to take it out of the tv and plug it into the computer.
