If you've not tuned in before then I recommend it, it's good fun :)

Most BBC Radio 4 comedy is worth listening to.

The Now show, ISIHAC, The News Quiz, Just a Minute, Cabin Pressure, Hut 33 and so on.
Even the older stuff, ISIRTA, The Goon Show, Hancock's Half Hour etc... is still fun.

I love ISIHAC's Uxbridge English Dictionary round though.

Shambolical - Padded y-fronts
Dictaphone - I must call Jeffrey Archer
Countryside - To kill Piers Morgan
Archery - To lie in court
Snuff box - Coffin

sadly my kitchen was a bit loud and busy so will have to catch it again, I caught the black eyed peas my humps on one song to the tune of another, thought that was hilarious!

Is it still Jack Dee chairing? How is he?
Obviously he's no Humph :(... but he's the best possible replacement, in my opinion.

He does his usual grumpy/sarky schtick, a la HIGNFY hosting. Personally, I think he shows a little too much reverence to the vets, but that might be because he's still settling in. I've not heard the new episode yet, maybe that's changed!

Having heard the shows featuring other guest hosts - Stephen Fry, Rob Brydon - Dee was easily the right choice. Fry was too respectful, and Brydon can't help but be his showbiz spotlight-seeking self.
