For people who are considering a switch over from 2500K or 2600K.

Mine is a random 2700K, Not cherry picked etc. Just an **** jobby

5GHz - 1.385v Prime Stable
Everything auto, apart from LLC set to very high. Set @ 1.375v in Bios

5.2GHz - 1.48v Prime Stable (only 1 hour) Should be able to get V down from 1.48v as this was just set quickly. LLC extreme

5.4GHz - 1.5v Boots into Windows fine, but fails within seconds of prime.

All tests everything auto apart from LLC on very high/extreme. Im sure could improve results on all as like i said ive just bumped up Multi and Volatge, not had time to tinker with.

Done on Asus P67 Sabertooth with a Quad rad solely for CPU, RAM, Mobo.

Using a 750w Lepa B PSU, hopefully when i get my BeQuiet unit may help with OC.

Will post some screenies later.

Looks like you got very similar results to me, although my 5.2ghz prime stable was on lower vcore. If the vcore is set to auto the bios/mobo always over compensates a little. You got a good chip there.
 
These 2700k's do seem a little better @ reaching 5Ghz on lower V's.

ofc they do, from the first batch only the best were cherry picked by poor aisan techno-slave kiddy winks with brains the size of melons to weed out any that did not clock to 5GHZ simply by ******** on them whilst touching a 9v square battery to their tongues at the same time.

Please be aware that out of 3 billion poor asian kids, only 0.141% were cherry picked to actually preform this task, not many have brains the size of melons after all.

What V are you using for 5.2Ghz prime stable? Ive got mine down a little to 1.46v by upping the PLL to 1.9v

I had my 2600k at 5.4ghz :)
Looking to go water chilled before Xmas so heat shouldn't be to much of an issue, looking to get top 10 in 5ghz club...sad I know but it floats my boat :)

Out of interest - you must have had a cherry of a 2600K to get 5.4ghz out of it, what cooling were you using please, and what volts for the 5.4?
Just interested tha knows Lol

It wasn't 5.4 ghz stable but stable enough for a quick super pi
Currently 16th on the 5ghz list and looking to climb, I don't care about 24/7 stable I just want the fastest possible oc I can get once I'm satisfied I will run it at 4.6 or 4.8 or something...it only cost me £30 to upgrade my 2600k to a 2700k :) and yes it was at 1.6v to achieve that oc
