The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I was off work friday and yesterday. 4 days still wasn't enough time, should have taken a week off!.

Loving the game! Spanked all my money buying regs to raise smithing, which is now at 97. So close!!!

Oh and it is a million times more immersive playing in 3D :)

BAH - lost an hours worth of explorations after a CTD. Always seems to happen after a long time between saves  Loving the landscape and wildlife, its a welcome change to the desolate wastelands of FO3

How much of an effect does armour have on sneak? People seem to see/hear me a mile off even when crouching. (crouch/walking is fine but soooo slow) Just wondering if its worth me re-accessing my steel armour.

Got attacked by two bears yesterday so I ran... into a dragon. The bears and dragon had a barney and a giant waded in and started smashing the dragon's head. I stood back and knocked off a few arrows to finish the job, got its soul and scales and skinned the crispy bears. Giant wandered off into the sunset.

Unreal.

Lol that sounds pretty epic. You dont mess with those giants!!

What a game couldn't get into Oblivion at all but this im hooked poor MW3 and BF3 havn't had a look in since I started playing this. Need find an easy way to get gold though took me ages to save for a house and now I need to pimp it out lol. I have it maxed out and it looks amazing chuffed to bits with it.

I know the feeling.. I havent looked back at BF3 since I got this game. Although, I did enjoy Oblivion once I got a class I liked. :p

Well I am really enjoying Skyrim thus far, it's massive!

One thing, and this isn't necessarily a bad thing, the engine feels distinctly like Fallout 3!

Surprisingly for me I prefer the gothic/fantasy/medievil setting.

My copy came today, it was only dispatched yesterday :D. I also go the pre-order map with it too.

Edit: Also, do you have to make any tweaks to get the 360 pad working properly like in Oblivion?

Work is so slow when I want to play a game

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUU-

So true! There aren't enough hours in a day for me to play enough Skyrim!

On another note, high level sneak + high level archery is insanely good, I would almost consider it to be overpowered, I haven't come across a monster/creature (Other than a dragon) that doesn't die within 1-3 shots.

On another-nother note, do creatures/mobs dynamically adjust according to your level or are there particular zones with higher level mobs? If so, is there a map of the region levels?

If it's anything like Oblivion, I believe the mobs are adjusted to your current level.

I enjoyed sneak in oblivion due to its power and looks like it might be the same here.. Might have to give it a go at some point :D

It's so natural with the 360 pad that sometimes I forget I'm playing it on PC! The only thing that reminds me is the Steam overlay (which I wish you could open and close with the guide button)
