I know, but try to get in an ocuk/ukcs/tfu squad.
Much better!
I started to use the IRNV last night, just to see what all the fuss is about. Turns out it's actually rubbish medium+ range. Close combat it's good to see people hiding in bushes etc
Personally i think it made me perform worse. I'm rarely up in people's faces, i play as recon/engineer and so for me i have little use. Rather stick to my scopes with zoom.
Q is very different from it....cant understand how people complained about that?
Agreed... i know for a fact our guys will kick someone out fo their squad if they aren't working with them.
The initial issues with the q-spotting and the red triangles were that the indicators would follow the target around. In BF2, they just showed up on the mini map, not a great big triangle hanging over someone head. So, you could sit back and just shoot at any triangles you saw, without having to actually look and find people. The behaviour was somewhat modified by DICE. With the IRNV, instead of having to scan for targets, even well hidden ones, I can stand up (lets say down the main street in Bazaar rush) and go into scope mode and every bad guy is shining yellow for me, even if they're prone and well hidden in some rubble. It makes target aquisition WAY too easy, you may as well not even bother finding decent firing positions since you can be spotted so easily.

Is anyone having problems with binding keys?
I want the spot button (q) to be changed to the side mouse button (Logitech G500), but it's simply not working?
Any ideas?
Just played 2 hours of single player, game crashed, nothing saved ! Had to start again![]()
