The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

I did the quest to get the sword Nettlebane and collect the sap to heal the tree in Whiterun. Was kinda shocked when those spriggans showed up and massacred the two poor bystanders that had just been there to admire the view :(

Nature is cruel indeed!

You can type tfc into the console for pretty much the same thing, it's really just a free roam camera but using the map to skip to certain points.

Before i press the play button again, i decided on 4 essentail items,

Mirror(to check how long my beard has grown)
Potty(so i dont soil myself)
Mini fridge(holds at least 3 days food)
matchsticks(to hold my eyes open)

I Think i have everything covered......:D:p

Being a Vampire!

Whatever you do, be wary when evolving to stage 4. Everyone goes crazy and tries to kill you. Trying to feed on someone at this stage is quite difficult they all seem to have extra sensory hearing. I had to get naked, use an illusion spell, and jap the forward key just to get close enough to a sleeping NPC to feed. You can also walk in daylight, but you lose several points of health/magic/stamima and there not supposed to recharge, but they do if you have magical items, like magic regen etc.

Regarding the skill perks. I wouldn't put any in locksmithing. I have well over a 100 lockpicks and takes 5 max for all but the hardest locks. The only perk worth having is the treasure perk but it's too far up the tree to bother with imo.

Seems like being a werewolf is easy, and a vampire hard.

As a werewolf you dont need to feed, and get 100% disease immunity in human form too.

When enchanting something what does charges mean? I really dont understand what that line does, and when you move the sliver left to right the numbers decrease?

It means how many times you can use the weapon (sword strike, or fire arrow from a bow) before it runs out of magic and needs to be recharged. The less effective magic you use (slider to the left) the more charges you get.

When you've used your enchanted weapon for a while, it'll eventually run of out charges, and just do it's default damage without the magical effect. You can recharge your magic weapons using a soul gem, but it must be filled with a soul (gems that have "common" or "grand" etc in brackets to the right of the gem's name have a soul in them.)

I've never liked this system much.

Is that all? Borderlands is 12GB would have thought it would be bigger...

I have just picked up a steamcode for 20 quid and need to free up some space:(

Just waiting for the code to arrive

For the 100000000000000000000000000000000000th time ....

Skyrim uses a hell of a lot of compression :p

So much in fact that the sounds cackle and tear unless you turn them down in sound properties to 16 bit / 48k hz.
