Sorry for the terrible dark device taking pictures

Not comparing image quality or colours here, just interface differences:
Lock screen. You swipe up, and you can set a passcode for your screen, but it's numerical only (although seems like there's no length limit).
Music player. Had to use Zune to put my music on there; I couldn't get My Computer to pick it up as a flash drive until I installed Zune. I managed to export my iTunes playlists as M3U format and put it in the Zune's playlist folder and then sync them to my Lumia. Doesn't seem like you can drag a bar to go back or skip forward in the song unless you hold down the previous/next buttons. Can't find any EQ settings either.
OcUK forums portrait mode. URL bar is always shown at the bottom and I don't think I've ever seen it auto-hide or anything. Also, seems like in IE (maybe other apps but haven't checked all yet), you can't tap or try and drag down the 'notification bar' to check your current battery status, time, phone signal and 3G/WiFi symbol.
OcUK forums landscape mode. If you are in landscape mode and go back to the Home screen, and then back to the IE browser, it goes back to portrait mode again. So you have to let it flip back to landscape mode. Not a big deal for me but dunno about other users.
Some things I do like about the Lumia off the top of my head so far:
- photo autofix which is great for some photos I've taken with the camera or I have synced from my computer that are too dark or not focused enough. No need to download an app for it
- it has it's own 'Siri' as well! Hold down the Home for about 3 seconds. I believe it's called 'Microsoft Tellme'
- if you press the 'Search' button to bring up Bing and tap on the music icon, you can 'Shazam' songs! Again, no need for an app
- very easy to download map packs and voices for Nokia Drive, all free. I've got UK maps and UK English female voice atm. Gonna test it tomorrow when I go for a drive
- the case you get included inside the box is VERY nice. Makes locating the lock button very easy when you gotta fumble about in your pocket or bag
If you want to compare display quality and camera captures, I would recommend you try both in a shop yourself rather than rely on pictures from other users because everyone has their own idea of what is good or bad.
