I see what you mean about Smogsy's server - it's brilliant, just had a good 9 or 10 games before it crashed and they were all very enjoyable. Vehicles would actually stop and wait for you! Teamates revived me! Squadmates sometimes stayed in my vicinity. If people would drop ammo it would be practically perfect. I couldn't really get into the game much playing pubs but that was great fun tonight. Cheers.

yeah totally agree popped on there myself and was suprised by the amount of squad action. Will be making it my first port of call from now no, good bf3 fun the way its supposed to be.

Whilst I'm in here, I have a 5.1 set up on Creative X-Fi, currently using war tapes but it there a better option? It just says hi fi and that seems a bit old school?

Hi-Fi, Home Cinema and War Tapes all run in 5.1 provided "Enhanced Stereo" is turned off. The first two are very similar, clean with plenty of range - War Tapes however has the gain cranked up and has more compression, on some setups this can sound messy and distorted, but turn up the volume and it feels like mortar shells are landing in your room. :cool:
 
WOW just tried playing on the brothers server thats linked on the first page, spent 30 mins gets raped by spawn camping lvl 40 idiots. I really really dont like this game, none of the other BF games were this bad.

I dont remember the last time a game made me angry but this just makes me furious, why didnt they bother making a game that wasnt a camp rape fest?

Assault can kill twice as much and keep people alive. Whilst support can take down snipers, resupply, and take out vehicles. We all know what engies can do (/rpginface).

Overpowered means stopping power for a given task, its not always about how many ways to kill or multiple ways to to make points which i have to agree that the role should have the claymores and more diversity.

The fact is that on hardcore its 95% of the time one hit kill with a sniper rifle and im not talking about infantry servers.
I have never had such a hard time against snipers any of the other BF games before as the rate of fire on some of theses means even a bad sniper who takes 12 shots because i do zigzag randomly has a high chance of killing you because only one of those shots needs to make contact and they can shot loads very fast with little to no vertical recoil with some of the unlocks and sometimes there is just no cover around.

Even in close combat the sniper has an upper hand as it take to 1-5 hits with other weapons but he only needs one hit and there is no reload between shot, upto 4 shots a second roughly.

Often i see snipers at the top of the board on the servers i have been on.
A clan member said OMG there is every little bullet drop with one of the high end sniper rifles, sniping has never been easier in BF.

Just got rocket pods on jets, they seem pretty good, disabled vehicles everywhere. It was great to be shooting down noob after noob with no flares or anything to get them :D

I really do wonder sometimes what the rest of my team is doing - you cant find them all as a 2 man squad, sadly:(

ahhhh woooo hooo. My "any game free from EAstore" code that i got through a glitch with cokezone points (got 20points added everyday for a few weeks!) finally works to buy the game for the grand sum of £0.00 :D

See you on the battlefield tomorrow when it is done downloading!

I know lol , we got an order to capture point C and ignore the rest on map, so we fire over there , we get the point under heavy fire, the rest of the team decided not to follow the order and we where stranded. Not good lol
