Card for 1080p on P4 3ghz...?

Hi all

I have a P4 3ghz Windows XP media center with a 7300gs which can't manage 1080p avi playback.....

If I got a 5450 like below would it work?

Yes, because the GPU is accelerating the video in hardware. What software are you using for playback?

It should be using hardware accelerated playback by default then.

Also can anyone confirm this comes with a low profiel bracket? Otherones say they do but this does not seem to mention it...

Well its come......but no low profile bracket.....I hope my bracket off my old 7300GS works....I belive thats DVI and HDMI...

Well low profile bracket was fine I had.

Anyway this has worked great! I have tested 720p and 1080i and plays super smooth! CPU usage is below 30% so I'm sure 1080P will be great as-well!

Hmmmm maybe I spoke to soon....watching some 1080i video and when people are speaking its out of sync....any ideas?

EDIT - Fixed this by downloading CCCP codec pack so all good now
