The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim announced

Game would be perfect if:

A: CTD bug was fixed ( only had a couple so far in 20+ hours though)
B: FPS didnt drop off in certain places within towns/villages.

I do hope they fix B as it is very irritating and seems to affect 99% of users ( probably everyone ). Its everyones biggest beef over on the Skyrim forums as well.

What the hells wrong with these Dragons? I've only killed 6 so far including three that were scripted and I'm level 30 with about 35 hours played. All because they just seem to circle then **** off again and never attack :(

What do you need to do to get Dragons to attack you?

Is this a known bug? In my game objects just love to suddenly fly across the room as if there was an explosion near by. Also when I walk into inns I hear an annoying nose which sounds as if someone put many boxes in a small space and they're all spazing out.

Basically objects in my game are not stationary, any advice? Would appreciate it :(

Same issue here, just been putting up with it so far, but when a pot flies at your face and takes 20% of your health off it's a tad irritating...and immersion breaking!

i found shouting at them normally works.
 
Fixed my CTD issue finally, got to the point where I was CTD'ing every 10 minutes.

Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound > Right click Speaker > Properties > 16bit, 48000 Hz

Xonar control panel > Sample rate > 48 Khz

TESV.exe - Run as administrator & Compatibility mode for Vista SP2.


1 of them worked.
 
Done 3 daedric quests now and got some cool items, some of the best quests in the game.

48 hours, still nowhere near finishing the main quest line(dragons or civil war stuff, whichever one is the main one) or done any of the guild quests or visited 3 of the main cities!

+1 to that! I am coping with fps in the mid 20's in cities atm

Otherwise the game is exceptional
 
My Companion is getting to be a pain in the arse. Instead of staying back and firing arrows she just goes rushing in. Ive decided to leave her at my house.
 
Finally got me my first house in Markarth, walking around the city in fine clothing feeling like a baller.

Just imagining all the crazy sh** I can put in my house and organise it in a really funny way.

I can remember replacing all the rubbish clay pots, cutlery, plates, etc in my houses in Oblivion with silverware I'd found/stolen. I'd spend ages arranging it all on the tables and shelves. :o
 
I've got dragon souls coming out my wazoo, there seem to be more dragons than wolves in this game. Several I've just found dead lying around and it's given me the souls!

Sorry i didn't mean saturation i mean brightness.

I have the brightness all the way down to the lowest possible in game and it makes the game look fantastic.

Really should try it.

Yes i corrected my self, don't become rude.

As i said above, lower the in game brightness and the nights become night and the dungeons become really dark and scary. You actually have to use torches to see at some points.

I wonder if that's on purpose or they just forgot to put it on the map? It would be excellent if there were dungeons out there that weren't marked. I know you can just turn off the compass indicators, but you'd never find anything at that rate.
 
So distracting the limited number of VA's in this.

Once you start to notice every 3rd guy sounds the same, it's really distracting lol!

Did this as well... Wonder what my 'husband' will think when I get married though.... (I think the female characters always look better than the male ones so tend to play as them...)
