Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

I've been using the Specialist strike package and I really like it.
Start with Blind Eye pro+Hardline+Stalker. With a silenced G36 and a stinger.
My perks for the specialist are then Assassin,Scavenger,Sleight Of hand.
I'm doing much better as there's no worrying about if you're gonna get a kill streak. Just run around shooting and if you get a load of kills you get better.
 
Honestly running all perks is something I've always wanted to do just to experience it. I still find it shocking that it's in the game and the Hybrid scope which gives you the scope view from Modern Warfare SP that you first encounter on The Bog IIRC. I thought you'd never see in the MP, but it is and it's better as you can switch to a plain holographic too.
 
The hybrid scope is awesome! I was wondering why when I got EMP'd I still had a RDS, I then realised it was because I had the hybrid scope.

I too would like to experience what it is like to have all the perks, might try specialist next time I play.

Or be a little **** and run Assassin Pro, then you can laugh at EMPs all day long. Not like the red dot sights are of much use anyway, everyone just sprays from the hip with a ump45 rapid fire. Can't blame them really, the gun is a beast.
 
Am becoming increasingly frustrated with the hit registration, maybe using a wired connection might help.

Literally aiming on then, no flinching from being hit, burst of 3, NONE register, then see me and make me pop my clogs.

I've never raged as much as I have playing this game, not even when I used to play CS:S, and that's saying something! (I broke a desk! lol)


The elite title looks awshum!

Its the PS3 version of the game and the servers as well. I have both copies and on Xbox the menu's are slick and on PS3 they just hang for a split second. Bloody annoying. In game is bad as well the connection issues I have is dreadful where on the Xbox I don't have any. All this using a 7MB download on my broadband.

Cheers for reply thats pretty awful, good thing to know my ps3 ain't dieing I guess :p.

Maybe should have bought it for the 360 instead as I have that also but usually prefer the pad on PS3 for fps :(. Hopefully they will fix it next patch or two.

This game hasn't made me rage as much as the PC. On the computer I think I went through about 3 desks and at least 10 keyboards with the original battlefield 2 pmsl.

The pad on this has been close to going through the tv though on a few occasions.

I originally brought it for the Xbox and I don't have a lot of friends that use the Xbox but play on the PC using the Games For Windows Live things like F1 2011 etc. So when I played split screen with my Uncle at his on his PS3 I went out and brought it.

Sometimes I have no connection issues at all on PS3 but the menus never feel that slick. I do however seem to get on better with the PS3 pad then I do the Xbox. Not sure it that is due to only have the Xbox for 10 months and have been a Playstation user for 10 years.

Same with the pad, I chucked it into the sofa last week, and now the left joystick crunches when it is pushed upwards, doesn't affect gameplay though thankfully lol
 
I think what annoys me with the new maps is that they've reduced any element of guile or tactics there once was and replaced them with run-shoot-run-shoot-quickscope-run-shoot type "fragging" nonsense.

Instead of balancing the game they've taken the easy way out and turned it into an infuriating killfest for kids.
 
Was just playing team defender on that map with the downed chopper with the mini gun on. The map got reduced to one building where the flag remained all game changing hands now and again...

That game type is very poor. Utimately the team lucky enough to keep spawning closest to the flag wins. We played it last night and had some awful spawning, as soon as we got hold of the flag they would spawn right next to us, but when we had to get them no such luck.

I really like kill confirmed though.
 
Finally got round to having a play yesterday, had it since last tuesday. Not that impressed with multiplayer tbh, but then gain, had 2 quick games, but i'm about 33% into the campaign and i really like it.
