Yeah I think if you loaded up RC2 you'd be pretty much playing 1.0 now tbh. If there's any surprises in 1.0 it will be a new item or block - something that didn't require testing.
 
Yeah, I'm still hoping for my Ultima Online type armour and ores :p I should learn how to code Java and just do it myself hehe!

Unlikely. I think a temp map is the best thing to go with otherwise we may run into issues with griefing and/or exploiting.

As I say, I may well be too busy to put up a temp server tonight anyhow. However, if Bukkit (and the important plugins) are updated I will try my best to get it all sorted.

Aww :( Lets hope they do, would really love to get started tonight as I have bought loads of supplys (junk food) for tonight and tomorrow :) Would even help put a premeter for the spawn up as soon as I get on so that no one starts on that area yet :)
