Best gpu under 230ish?

My 4890 has served me well and is still quite decent but I want something that can handle dx11 games so was originally thinking of getting a 6990 but seing as the 7k series is out next year I just want something that will last a while untill I upgrade again. At the moment im thinking of either a 6950 or a 560i but unsure. I mainly game at 1920x1080 so was wondering if anyone has any thoughts ?

If you can add another £15 to that money then this is the best GPU for around that money and resolution you use.

Edit, also if you want to wait a week or so (can't hurt) new 448 core 560ti's are rumoured to be available by the end of this month, apparently matching 570 speeds from stock at £200.

7950 will be pretty much twice as fast as anything you can get now, for £210-230, just have to wait a 4-6 weeks.

Spending £200+ now on a top end card is madness.

We'll have to see about it being twice as fast but if the rumoured $400 price tag is true it's going to be a lot more than £210-£230.

7850/7870s should be out december... theoretically, those are likely to be aorund that price. the 79XX will be closer to the american pricing i.e. somewhere between £350-500, they never translate according to the exchange rate.

No, though it would be good to get the cpu to overclock to around 3.6 or more.
