Sounds like enchanting is the way to go! Will have to look at that, and find an arcane enchanter I can play with!
 
Battlefield 3 is looking like it's gonna be on the shelf for a while...this game is fantastic.

Anyone know of any hotkeys to save? I'm tired of going through the menus, even if it does save very quickly.

Yeah fighting mages with magic is a right pain. To be honest, I'd recommend ward in one hand (lesser is one), and a destruction in the other. If this fails, just pull out the warhammer until you can add some nice perks in, and get some nice enchants on gear...

I really want to find some 'increase carry' items. My Oblivion character lived in Glass with high level feather enchants! Was incredible for spelunking! :)

As for finding enchants, try popping into weapon/armour shops. They seem to have a reasonable array of enchanted items that would be re-buyable. I'm considering buying up a few myself and just disenchanting them all xD

Also have discovered a great way to raise my smithing - Buy iron ingots. Collect Dwarf metal - really easy if you find the right place, and then just melt down the dwarf metal to bars, and make tons and tons of dwarven bows. Pretty good return I think. (probably make less than raw materials, but considering you didn't buy the dwarven bar). I had 131 bars yesterday after two trips of max carry to a dwarven mine. Came back and got 30-50 Smithing no problem :)

Lydia is dead.

She was with me for over 20 hours, now she's a little pile of ashes in an ice cave....

I know I could reload and try the fight again, but that would defeat the object of playing. The story moves on, now I need to find a new companion. She will always have a special place in my heart..... sniff...

hehe k, duno how many ill do but ill try one more at least to see if i can escape that mages trap area.

Wow. Finding the 24 barenziah stones gives the most overpowered reward of all time. It's a perk/active effect that gives more chance of finding gems in chests. What it doesn't you is that it massively increases the chance. Like, I'm finding flawless diamonds, sapphires and other things worth 500+ gold in literally every chest and urn, even if there's just 5 gold in them.

When you have the Favourites menu open (it may work through normal menu, but I've only ever tried it with favourites) if you press a number on the numpad (again may work with convential number buttons) you can assign an item as a shortcut.

I don't actually use it, but discovered this the other day.

guys got a little bug/problem in my game, when i open my journal, select a question and open my map to show where the person/quest is it doesn't tell me at all, am i doing something wrong?
 
Started the Thieves Guild quetline last night, 8 hours later I finaly got the
Skeleton Key
. Not far now, I think.....
 
Has anyone bought the 4 CD soundtrack? I'm interested to know if it differs from the music files in any way. The majority of music files are mostly 30 second mood pieces so I wonder if they're just slapping them onto the CDs.
 
Just fought my first "Ancient Dragon"... I swear I shot like 3 arrows in it and it's health never moved :P One "Yol" breath and my health dropped from full to 25%. Needless to say I made a tactical retreat.
