**The Official Nokia Lumia 800 Thread***

I've been having it on standby pretty much all day and left home at 9am with 100% charge. Currently on 63% with 9 hours left. About the same as my iPhone 4S but I'm gonna use it as my main phone on Sunday when I go back to work and see how much it really lasts!

As long as there's still charge when I get home and doesn't completely drain before I go sleep, then I'm fine with it.

I just can't stop picking it up at random and staring at the lock screen before I unlock it, scroll a bit and then lock it. It just feels and looks SO nice. If this phone came out a month ago, I may have not got my 4S :p

I was supposed to have my Lumia delivered today (18th). Thats what they promised, but apparently they didn't ship them out as they had 'stock problems'. I was then guaranteed I would receive a dispatch email between 6pm-9pm today and had it delivered tomorrow (19th) between 8am and 1pm. No e-mail has arrived and its 20 past 9.. And for some reason I don't see it arriving tomorrow either.

They're in for a mouthful tomorrow

I can't seem to get any decent shots with the camera, the software to use it was pretty nice but all the shots are badly exposed, grainy and soft even with the flash. Much worse than an iphone 4.

Hmmmmm, i've been with T mobile for around 7 or 8 years now ....

I wonder what the chances would be of me keeping my contract with 50% discount, changing to the cheapest £10 pm contract (£5 pm with my discount), and grabbing a Lumina since upgrade offers are based on your previous contract term, and you can change the contract when its up for renewal.

I doubt I'd get it for free, but I'll see if T Mobile are willing to keep me after I get my one plan.

I'll give them a call and discuss this at some point.

Hmmm, here it is on a new contract, £300 at £10pm including an internet booster:

If they let me change to that tariff at 50% off while also getting a discounted upgrade based on my previous contract, I'll take it!

I've just bought one as Android just annoyed the heck out of me on my Samsung Galaxy S2. So far only setup the apps, email, music and social stuff but like the interface a lot and it seems very responsive. The email clients on android that I tried were all pretty rubbish so its nice to have something that actually works properly.

The email client does some strange rendering on certain html email, pretty simple page I send out that works fine on Outlook, Android, iPhone etc looks pretty awful here.

Perhaps it's the low resolution?

Im actually the same, Droid has ended up annoying me in more aspects than it has benefited me (s2)

Whats it been like going from the S2 to the 800?

Right re-ordered mine It should be here on the 28th (In Blue)

is 28th the day the blue is released, or you getting it earlier somehow?

Plus I Might have to change, dont think expansys have a quick delivery meathod reading about the site.

Its (yet) another phone OS to get used to and I think it'll have it quirks like all the others but for me it seems, at least so far, just to work. It feels like a proper OS and the apps feel integrated in much the same way that say iOS does, unlike Android where you get bolt on this and cobble together that feel to a lot of apps.

Yea sounds good for me then, I was the same, ive kinda fell out with Droid and how its a mish mash of other things, plus just like the look and size of the 800.

I had a go on a blue N9 yesterday and it's an absolutely fantastic looking thing. The black is nice too but the blue is definitely better.

The pinky-red one wasn't bad either to be fair.
