I loved the beta, i know its gonna be good and it helps justify the Collectors Edition preorder
Personally I Love the game!
I am a big RPG fan, and BioWare fan - so Mass Effect series etc... and of course star wars. I'm by no means an MMO Vet - and for those who want WoW I think will be dissappointed; at launch I think it'll be hard for it to compete in some respects as there is such emphasis on story - for me that's good though as it keeps me engaged and I want to play and do quests and explore - sure it's a bit linear in some respects and not a sandbox MMO like SWG - but I love co-op gaming and KoToR with co-op is essentially what this is; sure if you like PvP there are those options, but for me it's not so important.
The Voice acting is superb, pleased with the graphics, like the execution of group features should I want to use them - and come end game I know I can run an alt or group up to max out with the best gear - maybe at that point i'll take PvP more seriously too. The possibilities are endless - and I am always let down by the amount of comparisons to other MMO's which themselves at launch had nothing in terms of content that they do today - they are in it for the long haul so look forward to it ever expanding.
You know a game is good when you can't bring yourself to play anything else - despite knowing that I will lose all progress (And already have one due to a wipe) - i have put 150hours+ into this in a few months and still want more!

My friend in America has the following specced pc:
Intel E5200 @ 2.5Ghz, not sure exactly on the model but its a pentium dc at 2.5
2gb ddr2 ram
Gigabyte G41M
X4500 Graphics!
Hes wanting to know if TOR will run at all. The official site says 2ghz core 2 and mentions integrated graphics need 2gb. I was looking into upgrades for him but not sure what to get. He doesnt have a lot to spend.
I was thinking of telling him to get a GT520 for around $60 - $65. Reckon this would be a massive upgrade?

Hmm I'd say a cheap 775 quad core, and maybe a ATi 5850 if he can get them cheap enough
Bit sad I finished the BH story line at level 36..thought it would go to 50.
There very well may be a second one, but strange that you finish the main one (to be Grand Champion) at 36.
There are 3 acts - is it not just first act (or chapter you finish) - by I am only 17 and just finished DK for the BH - but seemed to suggest after the hunt you might work for Mandalore

Well I'm the Grand Champion, ur story line when u start is become the Grand Champion.

He was looking to spend about $70 lol. Hence the cheap graphics card. He doesnt care about graphics or anything so.

Buy second hand, something like a 6570/6670/6770, not sure what the prices are like but can't be far off. If there's any spare get some more RAM.

Think that what it is now.
havent had a look at the trees in ages, the points allocations seem to imply (bar the odd point here and there) that the best way to go is all your eggs in one tree with the spares picking up the odd baseline stats from the other tree(s), is this the case? Or will there be some viability in those that want to muck around with hybrid builds?
Depends what you after if you want to be a full tank I guess most in one tree, but when I reach 50 I will have roughly 14 points in other trees.
Hybrid work very well if you want a cross between tanking and DPs.
Saying all that this is my first attempt as a BH and I may find later that points may be better spent elsewhere but for now I will max out the shield (bar 2 skills I think)
